Happy Mother’s Day to every mother, grandmother, stepmother, and mother figure who has poured out love, prayers, strength, and grace into the lives around them.

Your sacrifices are seen.
Your prayers matter.
Your love reflects the heart of Christ.

It’s Thursday…
and for some of us, the week is already heavy.

Not just physically tired…
but mentally and spiritually worn down.
You’ve been carrying a lot.
Pushing through. Showing up. Holding it together.

And the world keeps saying
“Just keep going”
“Push harder”
“Don’t slow down”

But Jesus says something completely different:
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”
Matthew 11:28 (NIV)

Not more pressure.
Not more expectations.
Just rest.

Right here in the middle of your week… He’s still inviting you to come to Him.

You don’t have to carry it alone.

The tomb was empty
The grave was defeated

Death had lost
“He is not here
He has risen, just as He said.”

What looked finished
Was only the beginning

The cross was not the end
The silence was not the end
The tomb was not the end

Jesus is alive

Hope is alive

Victory is here

The promise stands
Everything He said was true

A stone in place
A guard posted
A seal set

Everything said it was over

Jesus was buried
The mission looked finished
Hope felt lost

This was the in-between

No answers
No movement
No victory… yet

But what looked final
Was not forever

God was not done

Sunday is coming

The cross was not an accident.

He was beaten
Mocked
Spit on
Crowned with thorns

And still… He stayed

They nailed Him to the cross
And the sky grew dark

“My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?”

In that moment, Jesus carried the weight of sin
Not His… ours

This was the cost
This was the sacrifice
This was love

He could have come down
But He chose to stay

For you
For me
For all of us
