- rice grain of phra ruang
- Khun Mae Boonruen said that during the reign of King Phra Ruang of Sukhothai, he performed a ritual to bless Phra Ruang rice grains to protect against enemies. He scattered the rice grains throughout Sukhothai. When Mother Boonruen knew through her spiritual insight where the rice grains had gathered, she would bless them and send her disciples to collect them and distribute them among her disciples and followers
- This mineral is found abundantly in Sukhothai province, embedded in weathered rock at the foot of Khao Phra Bat Yai mountain. When the weathered rock is broken open, square-shaped stones resembling dice are found, varying in size from small to large, with a rusty iron or burnt brown color. Larger pieces are flat, about 2-3 centimeters in size, smaller pieces are about half a centimeter
- It was found that these blessed Phra Ruang rice grains were excellent at protecting against danger and curing various poisons
- said to protect against snakes and, if bitten by a poisonous insect, pressing the stone on the wound will neutralize the poison
