Nor is it just about sitting in church on Sunday or looking the holiest in the street
It’s not even just about doing the right thing

It’s about having a relationship with God.

That’s why we praise him together as a unified body
That’s why we are called to be holy as He is holy
That’s why living water overflows from within

We are Christians because Christ lives in us and through us

Beloved,

I beg you as sojourners and pilgrims,

abstain from fleshly lusts which war against the soul. (1 Peter 2:11)

But put on the Lord Jesus Christ,

and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts. (Romans 13:14)

Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. (Galatians 5:16)

Take heed to yourselves.

We say it in disappointment, fear, frustration, or when God feels silent.
Yet when Jesus faced the cross, He surrendered to the Father’s.

Jesus says that we can ask God whatever we wish and actually get it - how can this be true you and I? Come to explore and be challenged to live a full and dynamic life with God through a renewed understanding of prayer!
