If our meaning and purpose is tied to our productivity and accomplishments, we will never be at ease.

One of the biggest hurdles to hearing God is the noise of our own misplaced trust—believing that the world’s pace will eventually lead to a place of ‘having enough’. But Jesus invites us to a different way. He isn’t just a part of our lives; He is our foundation. Let’s shift our trust away from what is ‘seen’ and rest in the One who is truly sovereign.

What is one ‘worldly’ pressure you’re choosing to let go of this week?

Is the world too loud, or are we just moving too fast?

We often miss God’s voice because we’re looking for the spectacular, while He is speaking in the ordinary. Slowing down isn’t just about rest—it’s about tuning our hearts to the frequency of His Spirit. Let’s take a moment today to stop the rush and simply be present with the One who is always speaking.

Serving with smiles. Responding in love. We wrap up three weeks of Community & Missions Emphasis with this in mind – the harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Lord, use us and let Your river flow into our neighbourhoods and the nations!

We thank God for His grace and favour upon our community arm, RiverLife Community Services. Here’s a brief update on how RCS is deepening their impact amongst families already under their care as well as broadening their reach in new estates so that more families in need can receive help and support. Let us lend our strength and sow in prayer or resources so that RCS can continue making a difference in the community, transforming one family at a time.

21 Prayer & Worship Gatherings start tomorrow, 16 Mar. As one people, we will unite our hearts and seek God together. Let us come with expectant hearts for the Lord to meet us in a special way!

We read in God’s Word that He restores the crushed spirit of the humble and revives the courage of those with repentant hearts (Isaiah 57:15).

The Lord, in all His greatness, chooses to be with those whose spirits are contrite and humble. Fasting not only humbles us – it turns our attention to the One who can give us true and lasting satisfaction.

What are some things in your life you are saying no to in this season?

12/03/2026

We fall into the trap of being overwhelmed and controlled by the demands of life if there are no margins in place for us to simply be with the Lord. Intentionally taking small pockets of time throughout our day to come before the Lord and centre our thoughts on Him helps us realign our hearts with His. It can be done anytime, anywhere — where did you spend time with the Lord today?

Rest | Restore | Connect | Create – One of our very own youths, Josh Goh, penned a word of reflection based on our New Year Sermon Series, Rhythms of Renewal. This piece of reflection reminds us that we are created in the image of God and He has a purpose for our lives!

Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest...” – Matthew 11:28

This one’s for you if there’s something weighing heavy on your heart this Christmas. Jesus sees you from the distance and He is calling you to come to Him for He will take care of all your needs.

Our Saviour and Good Shepherd meets us exactly where we’re at, and embraces us even when we’re weak and broken.

We are praying for you to experience the peace, healing and restoration that Jesus brings!
