Jesus Is Enough

Many people spend their lives searching for satisfaction in relationships, achievements, possessions, or places, only to discover that none of them can truly fill the deepest longing of the heart.

That longing was created for Christ alone.

The Apostle Paul declared, “I consider everything a loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord” (Philippians 3:8).

When Jesus becomes our greatest treasure, we find the contentment and peace that the world cannot give.

People may disappoint us.

Circumstances may change.

And earthly things may fade away, but Christ remains constant.

“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want” (Psalm 23:1).

Until Jesus is enough for you, nothing else ever will be.

But when He is enough, you discover that He is more than enough. 🙏❤️

In the Book of Acts, believers were filled with the Spirit, proclaimed Christ boldly, nurtured new believers, and multiplied disciples throughout the world.

The Holy Spirit's power was never meant to stop with us.

It was meant to flow through us.

That is what Living the Spirit-Filled life means.

Acts 1:8 "But when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, you will receive power to testify about me with great effect, to the people in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth, about my death and resurrection.”

Living the Spirit-Filled Life is not just simply blessing us.

But to transform us, empower us, and send us so that others may become followers of Jesus.

Holy Spirit sealed you!

1 Thessalonians 5:19 “Do not quench the Spirit.”

Judges 16:20 “But he did not know that the Lord had left him.”

“If the Holy Spirit was withdrawn from the church today, 95% of what we do would go on and nobody would know the difference.” - A. W. Tozer

Sin never stays private.

Numbers 32:23 “Be sure your sin will find you out.”

Because conviction leads to repentance, and repentance opens the door for restoration.

1 John 1:9 “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us…”

Confession is more than simply saying, “I'm sorry.”

It includes a sincere recognition of sin and a desire to be restored to fellowship with God.

Believers do not need to hide their failures from God.

When they come to Him truthfully, they can trust His promise of forgiveness and restoration.

As believers, the Holy Spirit dwells in us (1 Corinthians 6:19), guiding, strengthening, and drawing us closer to God.

There will be days when you feel joyful, and days when you feel tired, discouraged, or overwhelmed.

Yet those are often the moments when you need to gather with God’s people the most.

Church is not just a place to celebrate victories.

It is a place to be refreshed, encouraged, and reminded of God’s presence.

Come to church whatever you are feeling.

Because the Holy Spirit in you is always leading you toward Jesus and deeper fellowship with Him. (Hebrews 10:25)

What Does Indwelling Mean?

This indwelling occurs when we first believe.

Seal of your Salvation.

"And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love." Romans 5:5

His Spirit takes up permanent residence in you.

The Holy Spirit doesn’t just want visitation.

He wants habitation.

The presence of the Spirit should change how we live.

“Therefore honor God with your bodies.” — 1 Corinthians 6:20

Protect the temple.
Purify the temple.
Dedicate the temple.

A Spirit-filled life ensures that every thought, desire, and intention is governed by the Holy Spirit's control.

The Spirit's Indweling

A Living Sacrifice
12 Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God-this is your true and proper worship.
Romans 12:1

The Holy Spirit always points people to Jesus.

He does not glorify Himself but reveals Christ to our hearts.

Jesus said, “He will glorify Me, for He will take what is Mine and declare it to you” (John 16:14).

The Holy Spirit convicts us of sin, opens our eyes to truth, and leads us into a relationship with the Saviour.

Without Him, we cannot fully understand God’s grace.

Acts 1:8 reminds us that the Spirit also empowers believers to share Jesus with others.

Today, listen to His voice.

The Holy Spirit is still drawing hearts, changing lives, and leading people to Jesus Christ.

John 14:16–18 is not just a comforting promise, it is a theological revelation and a personal invitation.

The Holy Spirit is not optional in the Christian life.

He is:
•Fully God
•Personally present
•Actively working

As we recognize the Holy Spirit, we can know Him and fellowship with Him.

Because He is divine, we can worship and obey Him.

Because He is active, we can rely on His perfect work in our lives.

2 Corinthians 13:14 The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.

16 And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever— 17 the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be[a] in you. 18 I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you. - John 14: 16-18 (NIV)
