Corpus Christi: Concerning the procession which regularly should follow the Mass, we remember how the Israelites revered the Ark of the Covenant which was the Presence of God among them. When they carried on their victorious marches, the Ark went before, born by the Levites in the midst of a cloud of incense, accompanied by the sound of musical instruments and of the songs and shouts of the multitude. We Christians have a treasure far more precious, for in the Eucharist we possess God Himself. Let us feel a holy pride in forming His es**rt and extolling His triumphs, while He is in our midst.

During this Octave of Pentecost, Father Davide Pagliarani, Superior General of the Society of Saint Pius X, has the joy of announcing the names of the priests of the Society who have been chosen to receive episcopal consecration on July 1st at Écône.

In a spirit of respect toward the supreme authority of the universal Church, the dossiers of these priests were presented to the Holy Father, together with certain explanations necessary for a proper understanding of this step, within the very particular and exceptional context of these episcopal consecrations.

The four priests are:

Father Pascal Schreiber, of Swiss nationality;
Father Michael Goldade, of American nationality;
Father Michel Poinsinet de Sivry, of French nationality;
Father Marc Hanappier, of French nationality.
The Superior General reaffirms that the choice and consecration of these elects do not proceed from any desire to claim a power of jurisdiction or to establish a parallel authority within the Church. In no way do they constitute a denial of, refusal of, or challenge to the supreme, full, and immediate power of jurisdiction of the Vicar of Christ over the universal Church.

The ceremony of July 1st will have no other purpose than to ensure the continued administration of the sacraments of Holy Orders and Confirmation, together with those sacramentals reserved to bishops, according to the traditional rite of the Holy Roman Church and the immemorial Faith.

The episcopacy to be received by these priests is therefore conceived solely as a service rendered to souls and to the Church amid this unprecedented crisis of the Faith.

Our determination to serve the holy Catholic Church remains unwavering, in the consciousness of the imperative duty faithfully and integrally to hand on what we ourselves have received — namely, what the Church has always believed, taught, and practised.

Pentecost Sunday: Already now, we can enjoy God through the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ within us - by the presence of His Spirit within us. We must enjoy the presence of God within us. And particularly through the sacraments, which maintain the presence of Our Lord within us - and especially the Holy Eucharist. That is the result of Pentecost.

It is a source of consolation which the pagans do not know, and that is why we must desire to be missionaries and want to spread around us the good news of the coming of our Lord amongst us; to want to communicate His Spirit through the sacrament of baptism to all souls who surround us - to all souls whom we know and who are still far away from our Lord Christ.

That is the missionary spirit of the Church. That was the missionary spirit of the apostles. See how they went out to cross the world – twelve apostles, a tiny and insignificant little group. They brought the fire of love to the four corners of the world. They transformed the world. That should also be our thought, our desire.

Bishop Athanasius Schneider of the Diocese of Astana explains in an interview on EWTN.

The bishop referred to the recent doctrinal declaration published by Fr. Davide Pagliarani, Superior General of the Society of Saint Pius X: "When you read it, it is entirely Catholic. It is written with such devotion to the Holy Father. They say: 'We only want to be, Holy Father, your good sons of the Roman Catholic Church.'"

Bishop Schneider develops a historical and canonical argument: "In the traditional view, in the long-standing view of the Church, disobedience to the Pope, even in the case of an illicit episcopal consecration, has never been considered by Church tradition as schismatic in itself. In ancient canon law, an illicit episcopal consecration against the will of the Pope was punished only by suspension, and not by excommunication. It was therefore not considered in itself to be schismatic."

Bishop Schneider compares Rome's current attitude towards the Society of Saint Pius X with the great tolerance shown towards other situations: "At the same time, while Pope Leo and the Vatican promote the inclusiveness of the synodal path, of synodal methods, while they are generous with the German Synodal Way, generous with the Chinese Communist Party by allowing it to ordain bishops there, the contrast is immense. And these faithful of the Society of Saint Pius X, who love the Pope, who pray for the Pope, who simply want the guarantee of transmitting the faith of all time without any ambiguity—I insist: without any ambiguity—are being denied this, and now they are being punished."

The bishop believes that the Vatican is now participating in the spread of an ideology contrary to natural law and divine Revelation: "By publishing the Final Report of Study Group No. 9, the Secretariat of the Synod of Bishops has stooped to promoting the propaganda of a global sexual ideology that is being aggressively pushed in politics and in the media throughout the world."

The interview notably revisits the scandal caused by the inclusion in the report of the testimony of a man living openly in a homosexual relationship who, along with his partner, received a blessing from Fr. James Martin, an American Jesuit priest close to LGBT circles, the very day after the publication of Fiducia Supplicans. Bishop Schneider states in this regard: "Fr. James Martin is nothing more than a clerical henchman of this anti-Christian and blasphemous ideology."

Ascension: "He upbraided them with their incredulity and hardness of heart, because they did not believe them who had seen him after He was risen again. And He said to them: Go ye into the whole world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized, shall be saved: but he that believeth not shall be condemned."

From May 8, feast of Our Lady Mediatrix of All Graces, until July 1, 2026, feast of the Precious Blood of Our Lord, the Society of Saint Pius X invites the faithful to unite in a common supplication for the future bishops. This prayer asks God to raise up pastors filled with faith, charity, truth, and apostolic zeal, capable of guiding souls in fidelity to the Church and to Catholic Tradition.

Feast of St Joseph the Worker

Prayer to St. Joseph the Worker
O glorious Patriarch, St. Joseph, humble and just artisan of Nazareth, thou hast given to all Christians and particularly to us an example of a perfect life through diligent labor and admirable union with Jesus and Mary.

Assist us in our daily work in order that we, Catholic artisans, may also see in it an effective means of glorifying God, of sanctifying ourselves, and of being a useful member in the society in which we live. These should be the highest ideals for all our actions.

O dearest Protector, obtain for us from the Lord humility and simplicity of heart; love for our work and kindness towards our fellow laborers; conformity to God's will in the unavoidable trials of this life together with joy in bearing them; recognition of our specific social mission and a sense of responsibility; the spirit and discipline of prayer; docility and respectfulness towards superiors; the spirit of brotherhood towards our equals; charity and indulgence with our dependents.

Accompany us in times of prosperity when the opportunity is given for an honest enjoyment of the fruits of our labors; sustain us in our hours of sadness, when Heaven seems to be shut in our regard, and even the very tools with which our hands toil appear to rebel against us.

Grant that, in imitation of thee, we may keep our eyes fixed on our Mother, Mary, thy dearest Spouse, who, as she spun silently in a corner of thy shop, would let the sweetest smile course over her lips. Besides, may we never take our eyes off Jesus, who was busily occupied with thee at the carpenter's bench, in order that we in like manner may lead on earth a peaceful and a holy life, a prelude to the life of eternal happiness that awaits us in Heaven forever and ever. Amen.

Prayer composed by Pope Pius XII in 1958.
