Today, 5 Sept, we mark the Memorial of St. Teresa of Calcutta.

From answering a "call within a call" in 1946 to founding the ๐Œ๐ข๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐š๐ซ๐ข๐ž๐ฌ ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐‚๐ก๐š๐ซ๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ, Mother Teresa devoted her life to serving the sick, poor, and abandoned. The Season of Creation (1 Sept โ€“ 4 Oct) is a special time for us to reflect, pray, and take meaningful action to care for Godโ€™s creation.

Join us and Caritas C4C as we celebrate the Season of Creation! From prayerful reflection to community action, find out how you can be a part of the movement in Singapore.

True ecological action doesn't start with a task list, it begins with a heart renewed by Christ. As Pope Leo XIV and Christian communities worldwide celebrate the Season of Creation, we are invited to reflect on this yearโ€™s theme: Living Water.

Drawing from Pope Francisโ€™ Dilexit Nos, we are reminded that care for our common home flows from love:

๐Ÿ’ฌ Compassion becomes care.
๐Ÿ’ฌ Care becomes hope.

Eight days after honoring Mary's Assumption into Heaven, the Church invites us to celebrate her crowning as Queen of Heaven and Earth.
In ancient Israel, the kingโ€™s mother served as the Queen Mother, a powerful advocate who brought the people's petitions to her son (1 Kings 2:19โ€“20). Today, Mary fulfills that same role for us in the Kingdom of God. As the mother of Jesus, the King of Kings, she sits at His right hand, interceding for our needs and pouring out grace with a motherโ€™s tender heart.

When you feel weary or in need of guidance, remember you have a ๐๐ฎ๐ž๐ž๐ง ๐Œ๐จ๐ญ๐ก๐ž๐ซ ๐ข๐ง ๐‡๐ž๐š๐ฏ๐ž๐ง who never turns you away. Run to her with the trust of a child, knowing her prayers for you are always heard.
