Psalm 25 gives us the key on how to gain strength, confidence, and stability in God, even in times of much uncertainty. The goal of God's people is not about being relevant, growing a ministry, or establishing a name for ourselves, but wholehearted, radical obedience to God. At the end of the day, what we ought to do is never about our name or ministry, but being faithful witnesses to Him.

The heart-cry of God in Isaiah 66:1 reveals the "what," "where," "who" and "why" of His whole salvation narrative. A holy and righteous God cannot dwell among unholy people, nor in a place filled with injustice and unrighteousness (Ps 24:3).

Jesus has chosen Jerusalem for His throne; yet, beyond a physical location, He is firstly preparing His people to become the place of agreement and alignment where He finds His rest.

Let us pray for this heart-cry of God to mark our hearts, that we may become His resting place.

Isaiah 65 contrasts God's judgement upon those who ignore, refuse and disobey Him (v1–7,11–12) with His blessing upon those who respond to Him in love (v8–10). He is never too harsh nor too slow, for He is true, just and righteous. His redemptive plan will ultimately come to pass in the reality of new heavens and a new earth (v17–25).

In Isaiah 63–64, Isaiah laments and repents on behalf of Israel. God promises that when His people turn to Him, He will hear their cry and answer. He reveals Himself as the divine warrior-king who will deliver Israel from the Antichrist and act on her behalf in unprecedented ways.

May we be those who understand His heart of judgement and stir ourselves to contend for what God desires in and through Israel (Isa 64:7).

𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬, 𝟐𝟓 𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔

We are witnessing a prophetic parallel between the Church of Sardis (Rev 3:1–6) and the modern-day Church, where we tend to live on past/false reputation or focus on how the world perceives us. The truest and most significant evaluation we can receive is from God Himself.

Just as Jesus spoke to the Church of Sardis, He is calling us to be watchful of our present spiritual condition (v2), strengthen what remains of our spiritual life (v2), remember what God has called us to and what He has entrusted to us (v3), hold fast to our faith (v3), and repent by turning away from what is wrong and turning back to God and His ways (v3). If we respond rightly to His exhortation, we will arise as a people who are real, deep, and authentic.

Isaiah 62 reveals the zeal, passion and commitment of Jesus for the fullness of Jerusalem. He will not keep silent, and He will raise up watchmen who partner with Him until Jerusalem shines. He will also call her by a new name, ushering her into the fullness of her identity and destiny in Yeshua.

Isaiah 61 is the Old Testament counterpart to the book of Romans — a portrait of God's salvation plan for individuals, for Israel, for the nations and for the earth.

This chapter introduces the Messiah of Israel and the Lord over all the earth: the Holy and Anointed One. It unveils His plan, His mission, His work and His process of transforming Jerusalem into her fullness.

We can hope in the One who will make the wrong things right in His time!

Being salt and light is not primarily about doing something, but about becoming and being. As we abide in Christ and align ourselves with Him, we become true salt and light, bringing kingdom impact and influence to people, society, and every sphere of life.

Being the "salt of the earth" results from living out the Beatitudes (Matt. 5:3–12), while being "light of the world" demonstrates what it means to be Kingdom People — that the way of the Kingdom is the better way.
