Saturday, 1 August 2026 marked a significant milestone for Arulmigu Velmurugan Gnanamuneeswarar Temple with the official launch of Vision 2059, our fundraising initiative to support the renewal of the temple's land lease and secure its future for generations to come.

We were deeply honoured to welcome our Guest of Honour, Mr Dinesh Vasu Dash, Minister of State, Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth and Ministry of Manpower, and Mayor of South East District, whose presence lent significance to this important milestone in the temple's journey. We were also pleased to be joined by Ms Bernadette Giam.

The launch was made especially meaningful by the overwhelming generosity and encouragement from our devotees, donors, volunteers, sponsors, and well-wishers. Every contribution received represents a collective commitment towards safeguarding a temple that has served generations through faith, service and community.

As we embark on this fundraising journey, we invite our community to continue walking alongside us as we work towards securing the temple's future and strengthening its legacy for generations to come.

Our sincere gratitude to everyone who attended, contributed and supported the launch. Together, we have taken the first step towards a shared vision for the future of AVGMT.
