Sheng Jia Temple 聖家廟 Sheng Jia Temple's main Deity is the Monkey God and has a long history of more than 40 years. The temple location was officially open on 6 Jan, 2007.

The origin of Sheng Jia Temple goes back more than 40 years when a group of young teenage neighbourhood friends got curious and started to conduct prayers to a white poreclain statue of Monkey God. This group of friends had observed complete devotion and dedication to Monkey God. From the humble origin of offering annual prayers each year, on the Birthday of Monkey God, which falls on 16th of the

8th Lunar month, the night of mid-Autumn Festival, till today, we have been Monkey Gods disciple for more than 40 years. Monkey God instructed us to start a process of fund raising from tear 2000 and by 2002, we were able to raised adequate building funds to jointly built the Sheng Jia Temple together with our 2 brotherhood temples: namely Tian Ci Gong & Tian Jun Fu. Ground breaking commence in March of 2004 and by 2007, our temple was ready. All disciples and devotees help contributed immensely to the building funds. All workers at the temple work on volunteer basis.Most of us have full time jobs,volunteering at the temple is based upon arranging and freeing up our time to dedicate to temple work. Please take note that this year is Sheng Jia Temple's 53rd Anniversary. Celebration had been always on the 16th of 8th Lunar Month.

But, this year we are brining the Celebration dates forward to ensure that the dates fall on a weekend.

Prayers will start on moring of Friday 3rd October (八月十二日）followed by Gala Dinner in the evening.

Devottees please kindly take note to be present on Friday.

Dear Devotees, for those who had prayed to Grand Duke Taisui for blessing this year in the year of dragon, a gentle reminder to come to the temple to thank the Grand Duke for his blessings!! Please bring along 5 oranges and a bottle of oil（cooking or praying oil are ok) : taisui jin are available in the temple for purchase at $4 each! Please do so before the 21st of December 2024!
