Almost a decade ago, in 2016, he began serving at the altar.
He started as a child with nothing but curiosity, simply eager to serve and learn. Through the years, that little curiosity grew into a deeper love for God, the Church, and the ministry he was blessed to serve. Along the way, he grew not only in faith, but also as a servant, a leader, a friend, a mentor, and so much more.
The altar became a place where he learned humility, discipline, sacrifice, and, above all, what it truly means to serve.
And now, after almost 10 years, he leaves the familiar place behind for a new journey in the seminary.
Perhaps the altar where he first began serving was already preparing him for the calling he is now beginning to discern. What started as a childโs curiosity has become a journey of faith, service, and a heart learning to listen to Godโs call.
May his journey be a reminder that a vocation can begin in the simplest of waysโa childโs curiosity, a willingness to serve, or a small โyesโ to God.
We hope his story becomes an inspiration to all children out there who are discerning a vocation: do not be afraid to begin. God can use the smallest beginnings to lead you toward something greater. Listen, serve, grow, and allow Him to guide you wherever He calls.
The journey continues. The call grows deeper. And a new chapter begins.
May the Lord guide him, strengthen him, and lead him wherever He wills.
