📖VERSE OF THE WEEK📖

Deuteronomy 10:12 (KJV)
“And now, Israel, what doth the LORD thy God require of thee, but to fear the LORD thy God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the LORD thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul.”

Moses reminded the people of Israel what God truly desired from them. God did not want outward religion — He wanted their hearts.

He wanted them to:

* Fear Him
* Walk in His ways
* Love Him
* Serve Him fully

This teaches us that real love for God leads to surrender and obedience.

It is easy to say, “I love the Lord,” when life is easy. But true love is shown when we choose God’s way instead of our own.

Sometimes God’s will is difficult. Sometimes obedience requires sacrifice. But when we truly love Him, we trust that His way is always best.

Love for God says:

* “Lord, I will follow You.”
* “Lord, I will obey Your Word.”
* “Lord, not my will, but Yours.”

As we follow our theme this year, “O Love the Lord,” let us submit our hearts, plans, and lives completely to Him.

Because real love obeys and follows God faithfully.

“O Love the Lord” — and submit fully to His will. 🙏

📖 VERSE OF THE WEEK 📖

1 Corinthians 8:3 (KJV)
“But if any man love God, the same is known of him.”

In this chapter, Paul was correcting believers who were proud of their knowledge. They knew many things, but their knowledge was hurting others instead of helping them.

Paul reminded them that knowledge can make a person proud, but love builds people up.

This teaches us something important:
What matters most is not how much we know, but how much we truly love God.

When we love the Lord:

* We encourage others
* We help instead of criticize
* We build unity instead of division
* We care about the spiritual growth of others

The church becomes stronger when believers love God sincerely and show that love through kindness, humility, and service.

God knows those who truly love Him, and that love should be seen in how we treat His people.

As we follow our theme this year, “O Love the Lord,” let us use our words, actions, and attitudes to strengthen the church.

Because love for God should always build others up.

“O Love the Lord” and build others with love. 🙏

📖 VERSE OF THE WEEK 📖

Joshua 24:15 (KJV)
“…but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.”

Joshua spoke these words as he challenged the people to choose whom they would serve. Others could follow false gods, but Joshua made a clear decision: his whole household would serve the Lord.

This shows us that love for God starts with a choice.

A strong family is not built on money or success, but on loving and serving God together. When God is first in the home:

* There is guidance
* There is unity
* There is peace

Parents lead. Children follow. And the whole family grows closer to God.

In today’s world, many homes are struggling because God is no longer the center. But when a family prays together, reads God’s Word together, and serves the Lord together, that home becomes stronger.

As we follow our theme this year, “O Love the Lord,” let us not only love Him personally, but lead our families to love Him too.

Because when a home truly loves God, that home will stand strong in every season.

“O Love the Lord” and let your home serve Him. 🙏

📖 VERSE OF THE WEEK 📖

Matthew 18:21–22 (KJV)
“Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times? Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.”

Peter thought forgiving seven times was already enough. But Jesus answered with something much bigger - forgive again and again.

In this passage, Jesus was teaching that forgiveness is not about counting. It is about the heart.

Why can we forgive like this?
Because God has forgiven us so much.

When we remember how God forgave our sins, our hearts become softer toward others. Yes, forgiveness is not easy. Sometimes the pain is real. But love for God gives us the strength to forgive.

As we follow our theme this year, “O Love the Lord,” let us show our love by forgiving others freely.

Because a heart that truly loves God will not hold on to bitterness.

“O Love the Lord” — and choose to forgive. 🙏

📖 Verse of the Week 📖

Proverbs 8:21 (KJV)
“That I may cause those that love me to inherit substance; and I will fill their treasures.”

In Proverbs 8, wisdom is speaking and this wisdom comes from God. It shows how God blesses those who truly love Him and walk in His ways.

God promises that those who love Him will receive “substance” and that He will “fill their treasures.”

This is not only about money. It means God provides what we truly need: wisdom, strength, peace, and even material blessings according to His will.

And when we understand that everything we have comes from God, our hearts change.

We become generous.

Love for God affects how we use what He gives us:

* We give to others
* We help those in need
* We support God’s work
* We manage our blessings wisely

We don’t hold tightly to things, because we trust God as our provider.

As we follow our theme this year, “O Love the Lord,” let our love be seen in how we give. Not only in words, but in action.

Because when we truly love God, we give generously.

“O Love the Lord” — and use what He gives for His glory. 🙏

📖 Verse of the Week 📖

John 15:10 (KJV)
“If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love.”

In John 15, Jesus was teaching about the vine and the branches. He said that we must abide in Him (stay connected to Him) because without Him, we can do nothing.

Jesus also showed that abiding is connected to obedience.
When we obey His commandments, we remain in His love.

This means our love for Christ is not only feelings.
It is a daily relationship.

To abide in Christ means:

* We stay close to Him through prayer
* We listen to His Word
* We obey what He says
* We depend on Him every day

When we stay in Christ, our love grows stronger. Our life becomes fruitful. We become more like Him.

As we follow our theme this year, “O Love the Lord,” let us remain in Him daily. Not just sometimes, but every day.

Because a love that abides in Christ will stay strong and bear fruit.

“O Love the Lord” — and stay close to Him always. 🙏
