We are living in a time and age where every Christian must possess the mentality of a spiritual fighter. Sadly, many believers have become passive, attributing every season of hardship, negative cycle, affliction, and calamity to the will of God without proper spiritual discernment.

A quick look around reveals how often certain Christian virtues are misunderstood and misapplied. What should provoke prayer is sometimes accepted as fate. What should trigger spiritual warfare is often embraced as God's sovereign plan. As a result, many have become complacent, mistaking demonic attacks for the will of God.

There are battles that a consistent priesthood of prayer can alter. There are situations that fervent intercession can reverse. Yet many believers have gone to sleep spiritually, and great spoil has been done to families, churches, communities, and destinies.

It is not always God's will that you go through everything you are experiencing. While God may permit certain trials for refinement, growth, or the fulfillment of His divine purpose, many afflictions are clear manifestations of the enemy's operations.

Unfortunately, many Christians no longer know how to fight back. The enemy has found comfort in places where he should have no resting place. The devil has made many homes and even some churches his dwelling place because believers have become prayerless, indifferent, and spiritually inactive.

Consider the story of James the brother of John, he was killed by Herod (Acts 12:1-3). Perhaps many accepted it as inevitable. Yet when Herod later arrested Peter, intending to bring him forth for ex*****on, something different happened.

The Bible records:

"But prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him. Acts 12:5

The church engaged in fervent intercession, and God responded through angelic intervention. Peter was supernaturally released from prison.

Beloved, arise and fight that devill before you die in bo***ge thinking it's the will of God.

BUT WHAT ATE YOU UP?

An ancient script says: "For the zeal of thine house hath eaten me up."

An old poet once said, "Every man will be eaten up before he is finally eaten up." But the question is: BY WHAT?

What eats your time?
What eats your attention?
What consumes your concentration?

We know every man will be eaten up physically, except those who will be caught up at the rapture. But before then, let's consider what happens in the present. Currently, about 174,000 people die worldwide every day. As thousands are buried back into the earth every day.

And if basic anatomy tells us decay does not take so much time. Within 24-72 hours, internal organs begin to decompose. By 8-10 days, the skin turns from green to red to black as organs liquefy. In weeks, every man buried will be consumed by thousands of maggots. From dust to dust. The question now is if maggots will eat the body AFTER death, what eats the man BEFORE death?

And that lies in the mystery of how the man spent his life?

The Psalmist said, "The zeal of thine house hath eaten me up." For him, it was passion for God.

For you, WHAT IS IT?
Is it the zeal to be known?
Is it the zeal to be rich at whatsoever costs?
Is it the zeal to please people?
Is it the zeal to feed your addictions?

Whatever it is, you might need to have a re-check on it. Eliminate anything ungodly that wants to have the most of your life. Refuse to be consumed by the wrong things.

Come out and be separate. Touch not the unclean thing. This is beyond popular opinion. It is a scriptural instruction. The world might not call it evil, but if God's word says it is, then IT IS. Don't do any experiments to want to find out on the other side of eternity. Make the most of the chance you have now.

CGMO says to one: If you will be eaten up anyway, let it be by zeal for God, not by lust for the world.

CGMO says to all: Guard what eats your time and attention, because what eats them will eventually eat your life.

We must not honour any man who seeks to break godly convictions under the guise of relevance or freedom.

Convictions rooted in Scripture and sustained by the Spirit must never be sacrificed on the altar of modern trends.

May the Lord help us to remain steadfast in doctrine, strong in convictions, and sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit. May we uphold the purity of the faith once delivered to the saints, and may our lives continually reflect the holiness and authority of God’s Word.

Amen.

CGMO CAPSULES FOR CONNECTIVITY

YOUR NATURE GOES BEYOND THOUGHTS

There is always a place where the line is drawn.

I know you have heard that "As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he." True. But I bring you the other side of the coin. It doesn't end with thought.

The spiritual realm is beyond psychology. You must accord necessary action to your thoughts. You must become.

Deceit breaks the bank of what thoughts alone can achieve. In the Christian race, you don't fake it till you make it. You make it by becoming it.

As the scripture says: "If a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself." Gal 6:3

It's straight to the point. The true nature of a man is more important than what the man thinks of himself. In fact, the nature you have keyed into will determine how you think. That's why our minds must be renewed and regenerated.

You can not think yourself into righteousness.
You can not think yourself into holiness.
You can not think yourself into salvation.

As the wise men will say, a man who wants to use the creative power of thoughts must know where to draw the line in the sand. Even the best substance, when taken out of proportion, becomes poison.

Dear believer, don't stop at positive thinking. Go beyond it. Be proactive with your faith. Prove your work by your walk.

CGMO CAPSULES says thus: You can't think yourself into the transformation that only God gives. BE YE TRANSFORMED BY THE RENEWING OF YOUR MIND. DON'T TRY TO DO BY YOURSELF WHAT ONLY THE WORD CAN DO.

CGMO CHAPTERS FOR CAPTAINS

DON'T RAISE WHAT YOU ONCE RAZED DOWN

In 1519, Hernán Cortés landed in Mexico with 600 men to face an empire of thousands. His men were afraid. Every time the battle got hard, they looked back at the ships parked on the shore, which was their escape plan.

Cortés saw it and he know that as long as the bridge back existed, they would never give their all into the battle.

So he gave a brutal order: Burn the ships.

In one afternoon, fire ate up every plank. With smoke rising behind them, there was no more plan B. No retreat. Only conquest and they conquered.

This is how faith works.

Some of us try to follow God fully while keeping our old bridge intact. The rule doesn't work that way. If you left that habit, also be willing to cut off whatever can revitalise that habit, be it a circle of friends, a website, a place, or an event.

God can not raise a man who keeps rebuilding what he once buried.

If that friendship, habit, or secret door once made you fall, don't repaint it. Raze it. Burn the ship. Block the number permanently. Break the bridge completely.

Because if you leave one ship, you will use it on a weak day.

THE WORD OF GOD IS POWERFUL

The Word of God is more than written letters; it is a revelation of divine realities. The Scriptures call it spirit and life.

Jesus said in John 6:63 (KJV), “The words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.”

This means that the Word of God carries the life, power, and truth of God. It reveals what God has said, what He has made available to us, and what we can trust Him to accomplish.

Therefore, when you speak the Word, believe it in your heart, and align your life with it, you are bringing God's truth to bear on your present circumstances.

The Word says you are more than a conqueror; therefore, you do not have to live as though defeat is your identity. The Word says God will supply your needs; therefore, you can trust His faithfulness even when your resources seem insufficient.

The Word of God reveals realities that circumstances may not yet reflect.

Do not allow what you see to become greater than what God has said. Rather, let what God has said shape your faith, your confession, your decisions, and your response to life's challenges.

However, declaring the Word is not a formula for forcing every desired outcome. It is an expression of faith in the character, promises, and power of God.

Hebrews 4:12 (KJV) declares:

“For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword...”

The Word is powerful. Believe it. Speak it. Live by it.

Let the Word of God become the foundation of your convictions and the standard by which you interpret your circumstances.

Your circumstances may change, but God's truth remains sure.
