As we joyfully prepare to mark our Covenant Church’s Diamond Jubilee this Friday, May 29, 2026; we look back with gratitude on the memorable Golden Jubilee celebration of 2016 — a significant milestone that marked 50 years of God’s faithfulness, growth, and grace upon our congregation.

The Golden Jubilee was not only a celebration of years, but a testimony of enduring faith, sacrificial service, spiritual impact, and the unity of God’s people. From humble beginnings, the Church has continued to flourish through generations, touching lives, nurturing souls, and standing as a beacon of light in the community.

Now, ten years later, we stand on the threshold of another historic moment — the Diamond Jubilee, celebrating 60 years of divine preservation, progress, and purpose. Indeed a lot can happen and change within just a decade, let alone six decades. As we share these treasured memories from the 2016 Golden Jubilee, may they remind us of how far the Lord has brought us and inspire us for the greater future ahead.

That is why we shall gather at our National Synagogue for the Special Diamond Jubilee Thanksgiving Sabbath Service on Saturday, May 30, 2026, with our offerings, praises, adoration and blessings to the Most Holy Father.

“To Almighty God be all the glory for 60 remarkable years of worship, witness, wealth and wellness.”

HAPPY DIAMOND JUBILEE IN ADVANCE TO ALL OF US IN THE HOUSE OF PRAYER INTERNATIONAL.

MAY YEHOVAH FAVOUR YOU MORE AND MORE.

SHALOM, SAINTS

Acts 2:1–21

Scripturally and historically, the greatest moves of God are never silent. Heaven does not whisper when destinies shift, seasons change, and divine agendas are established upon the earth. In Acts 2, the Spirit of Yehovah descended with a sound from heaven like a rushing mighty wind, filling the entire house where the disciples were gathered. Before there were tongues of fire, there was a sound. Before manifestation, there was movement. Before harvest, there was noise.

This was not mere excitement or emotional expression. It was the prophetic fulfillment of Joel 2:28–32: “And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out My Spirit upon all flesh.”

Pentecost, also known as Shavuot, the Feast of Weeks, and the Feast of First Fruits, was originally instituted as a harvest celebration according to Leviticus 23:15–21. Yet in Acts 2, Almighty God unveiled its deeper spiritual significance. It became the revelation of a greater harvest: the harvest of souls, nations, and empowered witnesses raised to carry divine fire across generations.

The upper room encounter reveals five profound truths about that noisy move of God:

I. The Noise Announced Divine Arrival

The sound in the upper room was heaven invading earth. It was God declaring that the waiting season was over. Whenever God moves, creation responds.

• Prisons shake open as seen in Acts 16:25–26

• Dry bones rattle as recorded in Ezekiel 37:7

• Mountains tremble as revealed in Exodus 19:18

Every genuine move of God carries undeniable evidence. Heaven does not move quietly when history is being rewritten.

II. The Noise Gathered the Nations

Acts 2 tells us that the multitude came together because they heard the sound. The noise of revival is evangelistic by nature. God did not pour out His Spirit merely to bless a room. He poured out His Spirit to reach nations.

At Babel, lang

:A LIGHT FOR OUR FUTURE

With hearts full of gratitude to God Almighty, the spiritual family of House of Prayer International Covenant Church joyfully celebrates its Diamond Jubilee, marking 60 glorious years of divine faithfulness, covenant preservation, and spiritual impact.

On May 29, 2026, our beloved Church formally clocks sixty years of God’s sustaining grace. This remarkable milestone is not merely a celebration of years, but a testimony to the unwavering hand of God that has preserved, strengthened, and established His Church through every season.

Our Diamond Jubilee theme, “Our Faith: A Light for Our Future,” captures the essence of this historic moment. For six decades, faith has been the foundation of our journey. It has guided us through challenges, strengthened us in times of trial, and illuminated our path toward greater purpose and divine fulfilment.

From humble beginnings to becoming a global voice of prayer, revival, and hope, the journey of HPICC stands as undeniable proof that God honours His covenant and perfects every vision He ordains.

On Saturday Sabbath Day, May 30, 2026, following the thanksgiving offering at the Holy Altar, we shall gather at our National Synagogue for a Special Sabbath Thanksgiving Service to honour God for His abundant mercies and celebrate six remarkable decades of kingdom impact.

As we prepare for the Grand Global Celebration on Sunday, October 4, 2026, we lift our hearts in thanksgiving for the past and confidence for the future.

Indeed, “Hitherto hath the LORD helped us.”

Happy Diamond Jubilee, HPICC, in advance.

The Divine Feast of Weeks, Harvest, Firstfruits, and Pentecost

Shavuot (Hebrew) is one of the three major pilgrimage festivals commanded by God the Creator in the Holy Scriptures. It is among the most profound and spiritually significant appointed times in biblical revelation, carrying deep prophetic, agricultural, covenantal, and spiritual meanings for believers across generations.

It is known by several names:

Shavuot — (Hebrew)
Feast of Weeks — (English)
Pentecost — Greek name meaning “Fiftieth”
Feast of Harvest
Day of Firstfruits
Holy Convocation
High Day Sabbath

It occurs 50 days after Passover and marks:

* The wheat harvest in Israel

* The giving and receiving of the Torah (613 codified laws) at Mount Sinai on the sixth of Sivan

* In the Renewed Covenant, the outpouring of the Holy Spirit in Acts 2 on Shavuot

Shavuot is therefore not merely an ancient Jewish festival. It is a divine appointment rich in prophetic significance that connects harvest, covenant, revelation, empowerment, and divine encounter.

1. THE SCRIPTURAL COMMAND FOR SHAVUOT

The observance of Shavuot is not a human invention or later religious tradition. It is a direct command from God as recorded in Scripture.

In Exodus:
“And thou shalt observe the feast of weeks, of the firstfruits of wheat harvest…”
— Exodus 34:22

In Leviticus:
The clearest instruction concerning this feast is found here:

“And ye shall count unto you from the morrow after the sabbath… seven sabbaths shall be complete: Even unto the morrow after the seventh sabbath shall ye number fifty days…”
— Leviticus 23:15–16

God commanded Israel to:

* Count 7 complete weeks (49 days) from Passover

* Then celebrate the 50th day

This counting is known as:

The Counting of the Omer

This process teaches intentional preparation, expectation, and spiritual readiness for divine encounter.

1. WHY IT IS CALLED “PENTECOST”

The Greek word:

Pentēkostē

means:

“Fiftieth”

‎2 Chronicles 31:7-21

Feast of the New Moon of the Third Month — SIVAN

‎The month of Sivan is spiritually significant in the Hebrew calendar. It is the third month; it always has thirty days with its new moon appearing between the months of May and June of the secular calendar. It is a season associated with revelation, covenant alignment, divine instruction, harvest, and supernatural order. In Jewish tradition, Sivan is connected with the giving of the Law at Sinai — a season where God called His people into deeper consecration, obedience, and covenant prosperity.

The New Moon represents:
‎New cycles
‎Fresh beginnings
‎Divine timing
‎Spiritual alignment
‎Prophetic transition

As we celebrate the New Moon of Sivan, God is calling men into a higher dimension of:
‎spiritual presentation,
‎covenant responsibility,
‎kingdom stewardship,
‎and prosperity with purpose.

This teaching is centered on a powerful kingdom principle:
‎“How a man presents himself before God determines the level of prosperity God entrusts to him.”

‎Deuteronomy 16:16:
‎“Three times in a year shall all thy males appear before the LORD thy God… and they shall not appear before the LORD empty.”

This scripture reveals three profound truths:
‎God specifically called for the males to appear.
‎Presentation before God is mandatory.
‎No man should appear empty.

I. THE SPIRITUAL MEANING OF “MALES SHALL APPEAR”
‎In scripture, males often represent:
‎leadership,
‎responsibility,
‎priesthood,
‎strength,
‎covenant continuity,
‎and spiritual covering.

God was not merely asking men to attend a feast.
‎He was demanding:
‎accountability,
‎alignment,
‎and covenant appearance.

To “appear before the Lord” means:
‎to present yourself consciously,
‎intentionally,
‎reverently,
‎and sacrificially.

Many men appear before:
‎employers,
‎governments,
‎social media,
‎business partners,
‎and society—
‎—but rarely appear before God with seriousness.

Isaiah 45:1–7

Our Maker is the Alpha and Omega. What He ordains He organizes. He began Ziv and will lead us to its end. Glory to His Name.

1. The Shock of our chosen Text: God Owns the Whole Story

In this passage, God does something startling—He anoints a foreign ruler, Cyrus the Great, a man who does not know Him, and calls him “My anointed.” This immediately dismantles narrow thinking about how God works. We expect God to move only through the familiar, the faithful, and the “qualified.” But here, God declares:
“I have called you by your name, though you have not known Me.”

This is the foundation of the message: God is not limited to our categories. He made them all, and He uses them all.
He made the righteous and the unknowing.
He made systems, seasons, and structures.
He made opportunities and oppositions.
Nothing exists outside His authorship.
See Isaiah 55:8–9

2. Divine Sovereignty: The God Who Goes Before

God says, “I will go before you and make the crooked places straight; I will break in pieces the gates of bronze and cut the bars of iron.”

This reveals three dimensions of divine activity:

a. Preventive Grace – “I will go before you”
Before you arrive, God has already arranged. Before the challenge appears, provision has been positioned. Your future is not waiting to be decided—it has been pre-walked by God.

b. Corrective Power – “make crooked places straight”
Things that seem twisted—delays, missteps, generational patterns—are not final. God specializes in re-alignment.

c. Conquering Authority – “break gates… cut bars”
What men call impossible, God calls temporary. Systems that resist you cannot outlast the God who sent you.

In this Year of Divine Beauty, God is not just decorating your life—He is restructuring it. Beauty will come from what He straightens, breaks, and rebuilds.

3. Divine Purpose: For the Sake of His People

God repeats a powerful phrase: “For Jacob My servant’s sake, and Israel My elect…”

This means:
Cyrus
