MIDWEEK MOTIVATION SCRIPTURES

LAUNCH OUT INTO THE DEEP AND LET DOWN THE YOUR NETS FOR A CATCH.

— Bible Luke 5:4–5 NKJV
[4] When He had stopped speaking, He said to Simon, “Launch out into the deep and let down your nets for a catch.”
[5] But Simon answered and said to Him, “Master, we have toiled all night and caught nothing; nevertheless at Your word I will let down the net.”

Good morning sons and daughters of the Almighty God. Our God is faithful.

This was the time when Jesus had just begun His ministry and used Simon’s boat to preach the Word. The fishermen had toiled all night and caught nothing. But after using their boat, Jesus told them to cast their net into the deep for a catch. Simon obeyed the voice of Jesus, and they caught so many fish that it became difficult to pull the net to the shore.

As we continue through this week, what is Jesus speaking to us? Let us obey the voice of the Master, the Creator of heaven and earth, and it shall be well with us. Sometimes our breakthrough comes after moments of disappointment, but obedience to God changes everything.

Be encouraged to trust Him even when things are not making sense. The same God who filled Simon’s net is still able to fill our lives with blessings, favor, peace, and breakthrough.
