Today, women leaders and officers visited Katitima Primary School in Salima to appreciate one of the activities being implemented through The Salvation Army — the establishment of the Children’s Council. During the session, the learners discussed important issues affecting young people, including peer pressure, early marriages, and mental health.

It was also highlighted that some learners are receiving support from The Salvation Army towards their educational needs. The visit provided an encouraging opportunity to witness the positive impact being made in the lives of children through guidance, empowerment, and educational support.

In the light..

In Kasungu corps, our vibrant young people turned Children and Young People Day into a day of pure joy and service as they lit their light by visiting the remote area.

They visited old person, sharing the Word of God and prayers. They swept the surroundings, fetched water from the well, and delivered food items.
The old man's eyes lit up as he appreciated the gesture by our young people. What a beautiful reminder that small acts of kindness create ripples of love. Proud of our youth!
