As we still journey in the book of John, this past Sunday we started Chapter 3 and read from verse 1-21

Nicodemus went to Jesus fascinated by the miracles Jesus did, and Jesus replied, "truly I tell you, unless someone is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God." Jesus was pointing him to what truly matters, BEING BORN AGAIN.

The goal of the gospel is to give us a new birth which is the transforming power of God that changes us into new man, a new creation all together.

Jesus have come to save, receive Him and be BORN AGAIN.

As we continue with the book of John, we were" reading in John 2:13-25.

"When it was almost time for the Jewish Passover, Jesus went up to Jerusalem. In the temple courts he found people selling cattle, sheep and doves, and others sitting at tables exchanging money. So he made a whip out of cords, and drove all from the temple courts, both sheep and cattle; he scattered the coins of the money changers and overturned their tables. To those who sold doves he said, “Get these out of here! Stop turning my Father’s house into a market!” His disciples remembered that it is written: “Zeal for your house will consume me.”

Like these money changers what is it that is in our hearts, that when we come to th eplace of whorship, God is saying, I want to tear that down?

As we continue with the Gospel John, this past Sunday we focused in John 2:1-11.

The Gospel of John was written so that we may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing we may have life in His Name.

In John 2:1-2, the Bible tells us that Jesus's mother was invited to the wedding in Cana and Jesus and his disciples had also been invited. When the wine ran out, Jesus's mother told him and Jesus asked," what has this concern of yours to do with me, woman, my hour has not yet come".

What did Jesus mean by "my hour" has not yet come?, Because it is used several times in the Gospel of John. It is referred to the time of His crucifixion, meaning at the beginning of the Gospel, John is foreshadowing how Jesus Himself is the bride groom and His time has not yet come.

Let us remember family, that Jesus is the bride groom and He has told us that He has to go away to perform bride groom duties, He is going to prepare a place for me and you.

Jesus has chosen us, loved us , called us to Himself and says you are my bride and I am preparing for you a place in my Father's House.
