DAY 3 - INTERNATIONAL SERVICE
Sermon by: Rev. Wejah
Theme: SPIRITUAL VISIBILITY THROUGH THE GOORY OF GOD.
Introduction
God is calling us to a higher place — a place of light, impact, and distinction.
The world is full of darkness, confusion, and ordinary living. But God has not called us to blend in. He has called us to shine.
Our anchor that : Spiritual visibility can be seen when the glory of God has come.
The Word
Isaiah 60:1-7
Acts 1:8
Genesis 41:38
Daniel 1:8
Matthew 5:16
Jeremiah 29:11
Key points.
1. THE GLORY OF GOD BRINGS VISIBILITY
Text: Isaiah 60:1-2
"Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee. For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the Lord shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee."
Visibility is not by striving. It is by the glory. When the glory of God comes upon a man, people cannot ignore him. Nations and kings will be drawn to your rising.
That glory is what makes you noticeable in a dark world. You do not have to announce yourself, the glory announces you.
2. DO NOT FEAR ATTACKS, CHALLENGES AND DIFFICULTIES
The reason we must not fear is because our light is designed to be noticeable in darkness.
Darkness will always try to attack light, but light always exposes darkness.
The Spirit of God in us is greater than any opposition. When challenges come, remember: they are proof that your light is threatening the darkness.
3. VISIBILITY COMES THROUGH A DISTINCTIVE LIFE
Daniel 1:8, Genesis 41:38
Daniel purposed in his heart not to defile himself. He lived differently. "And the king communed with them... and in all matters of wisdom... he found them ten times better."
Visibility happens when you live a distinctive life from normal and ordinary people. Distinction is a product of consecration. You cannot look like the world and expect to shine like the glory. God is looking for men and women who will carry His Spirit and stand apart.
4. IMPACT THAT SHOWS THE GLORY HAS COME
Text: Matthew 5:16
"Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven."
We need to be impactful. Impact is seen when the glory of God has come upon man. Impact is not noise. It is transformed lives, solutions, and testimonies that point people back to God.
Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
God’s plan for you is not to be hidden. It is to be a city set on a hill. Your impact will give people hope and give God glory.
In conclusion
Beloved, spiritual visibility is not about fame. It is about the glory of God being seen upon you.
The word charges us to:
1. Arise and shine — Let the glory rise upon you.
2. Be bold — Do not fear attacks, for your light is needed in this darkness
3. Live distinct— Separate yourself like Daniel and Joseph.
4. Be impactful — Let your life preach so that man can glorify God.
