Seed that is nourished and watered
I often tell people, do not nourish or water every seed that germinates in your life. Sin has reasonably spread through the nutrition of us failing to uproot it or let it suffer from deficiency. As the bible says, “15 Then the lust, when it has conceived, bears sin. The sin, when it is full grown, produces death,” James 1:15. The flesh says, “Give yourselves to fornication, and explore before marriage and you will repent, or use drugs or practise behaviours and then repent later on,” until sin has developed resistance which requires a much stronger force to break it (Romans 6:12–13). The flesh never gets full—do not succumb to its demand; control it (Galatians 5:16–17).

Life is supposed to be lived according to the purpose or the will of the One who created it (Eph 2:10 “10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared before that we would walk in them.”; Isaiah 43:6–76 “I will tell the north, ‘Give them up!’ and tell the south, ‘Don’t hold them back! Bring my sons from far away, and my daughters from the ends of the earth—7 everyone who is called by my name, and whom I have created for my glory, whom I have formed, yes, whom I have made.”).

When you create or design anything, your main aim is to let your creation or design serve a specific purpose. God created life; He breathed the spirit of life into man (Genesis 2:7), and yet made man live by free will. He has placed before us death and life, good and evil, so that we will choose (Deuteronomy 30:19). We are not robots.

In this world, God is revealed through the life of man. Similarly, the devil’s influence is revealed through the life of a man. Man was given all the dominion on earth (Genesis 1:26), and the body of blood and flesh has the valid visa on Earth, but any other body like spirit needs to enter into a body to reveal its influence. Hence, it is good that a man or woman watch out for the influence of their actions (Proverbs 4:23).
Many people focus on humanity and tend to connect that to godly character, yet they are totally distinct. The result claim is that no man can be perfect. Why then did God say we should be perfect? (Matthew 5:48). Living the Spirit-led life will allow your flesh to be well tamed so that you may glorify God in all your deeds (Romans 8:13). I have been crucified with Christ, it is no longer I, but Christ lives in me (Galatians 2:20). I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me (Philippians 4:13). You bear fruit when you are connected to a tree, so connect to the Vine, Jesus, which has been planted by God the Father (John 15:5).
While we were dead in our sins, due to a body of blood and flesh, God had to sacrifice His only Son so that we could have eternal life (Romans 5:8; John 3:16). We have been bought with a price, so we are not our own (1 Corinthians 6:19–20). This says whatever you do, speak, plan, or think needs to be in alignment with God’s will (Colossians 3:17).
To live a fulfilled life of purpose and be fruitful, you need to be in God’s will (Psalm 1:1–3). In these dark times, believe you me, lukewarm Christians will greatly drown (Revelation 3:16). Make a decision today to get fully immersed into God’s glory. Many are called, yet few are chosen, because the choices of a man will ultimately decide his fate (Matthew 22:14).

Navigating the Journey Called Life — Hearing God Daily
Introduction: Life Is Not Easy, But It Is Not Empty
We are all on a journey—a path filled with uncertainty, trials, and decisions that shape who we become. Life rarely moves in a straight line. Setbacks, betrayals, unexpected turns—they come to all of us.

But in the midst of all this, God has not left us to wander blindly. He is always speaking. He is always guiding. The question is: Are we truly listening?

1. Life’s Challenges Are Real and Test Our Faith
From the moment we enter this world, we face tension—between good and evil, light and darkness, righteousness and compromise. Every day, life presents challenges: pain, sickness, loss, betrayal, failure. These are not just stories; they are real struggles we all know.

In that moment, darkness overshadows your mind, and it does not come alone. Just like when Samson fell into the hands of the Philistines, and they called their allies to come and celebrate his downfall (Judges 16:23–25), so too does darkness summon its companions. Regret enters. Hopelessness follows. Doubt, depression, stress, and fear all gather like guests at a funeral—celebrating the fall of a once-strong soul.

The true occupants of your soul—joy, peace, hope, courage, and faith—are squeezed into corners, silenced, or even driven out completely. And when that happens, a person may reach the breaking point. Some turn to su***de. Others suffer mental breakdowns. The light fades. The battle feels lost.

We may see signs in ourselves or others: purity replaced by lust, peace traded for bitterness, joy surrendered to jealousy, self-control lost to anger. Some wander into theft. Some into violence. Some into prostitution. Not because people are evil, but because they’re overwhelmed by storms they don’t know how to weather.

But here’s the key: Life is not without trials—it is full of trials. Yet the believer’s hope is found not in escaping hardship, but in the presence of eternal life—a life given by a different God.

“In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” — John 16:33

This truth gives strength to rise again, to stand firm on Jesus, the Rock.

“But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles.” — Isaiah 40:31
“They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green.” — Jeremiah 17:7-8

With faith restored, we declare:

“I know that my Redeemer lives.” — Job 19:25
“I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord.” — Psalm 118:17
“I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that He is able to keep what I have committed to Him.” — 2 Timothy 1:12

2. Eternal Life Is a Present Reality, Not Just a Future Reward
“Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God…” — John 17:3
Eternal life is more than living forever—it is living differently now.

Those who carry eternal life don’t give up when times get tough. Like Joseph in prison, David resisting temptation, Abraham trusting God’s promises—they walk in faith despite what they see.

Eternal life lets us say:

“I may not see it now, but God is working.”

“I will walk in righteousness even when compromise is easier.”

3. Hearing God’s Voice Is Essential to Navigating Life
What separates those who stand firm from those who fall is often this:
Did they hear from God?

Scripture is full of examples of men who made wise decisions—not always because an audible voice told them what to do, but because they were listening. They lived by spiritual sensitivity.

Isaac wanted to escape famine by going to Egypt, but God told him to stay—and God blessed him in that same land (Genesis 26:2–3).

Abraham gave Lot the first choice of land. Lot chose what looked better. But Abraham trusted God's promise. And that land—the one God gave Abraham—would become the land of milk and honey.

Joseph, though imprisoned unfairly, kept his integrity. He could have become violent or bitter. But God was with him and elevated him.

David had many chances to kill Saul, but he said, "I will not touch the Lord’s anointed." He was guided by something deeper than emotion—the voice of God within.

In all these stories, we see a pattern:
Even when Scripture doesn’t say, “God said,” we can see that God was guiding their decisions.

4. God Speaks in Many Ways—Learn to Tune In
God speaks in many ways:

Through His Word

Through dreams and visions

Through the inner witness of the Holy Spirit

Through wise counsel

And often, through intuition—what feels like an internal compass, quietly influencing your choices

But here's the challenge:
There are many voices in our heads—our own thoughts, the enemy’s lies, societal pressures. That’s why we must learn to calibrate our spiritual ears.

“Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, ‘This is the way; walk in it.’” — Isaiah 30:21

Like in scientific instruments, interference must be silenced. If your heart is clouded by fear, despair, regrets, doubts/disbelief, lust, pride, or greed, you’ll misread the signal. But if your heart is yielded to God, your “spiritual instrument” becomes clear, sensitive, and accurate.

Understanding the Two Channels of God’s Voice
“My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.” — John 10:27

This leads us to the question:
How exactly does God speak to His people?
There are two primary channels—both requiring spiritual tuning.

Channel 1: Direct Revelation (Spiritual Frequency)
This is when God speaks clearly and unmistakably—in words, visions, dreams, whispers, or even an audible voice. It can come without warning, not because you asked, but because He chooses to reveal something.

Like young Samuel, who thought it was Eli calling him, God's voice can be confusing at first. But over time, you learn to recognize it:

“Speak, Lord, for your servant is listening.” — 1 Samuel 3:10

This voice is like a spiritual radio frequency—pure, weighty, holy, unforgettable. It is unlike your thoughts, unlike demonic temptation, and unlike human logic.

Once God trains your ear, you no longer need to guess. You begin to say:

“This is the voice of heaven. This is not from me.”

Instrument: The Telecommunication Tower
Like a cellphone tower receives signals, your spirit—when tuned—can catch heavenly signals. You don’t generate them. You receive them.

Channel 2: Influence Through Intuition (Spiritual Discernment)
This is more subtle, and it’s where most people struggle. God shapes your thoughts, impressions, convictions, and choices over time.

But because this channel is quiet, it can easily be mimicked—by your own desires, fears, or even the enemy. That’s why calibration is key.

Instrument: The Analytical Sensor
Just like in a lab experiment—where interference corrupts data—your spiritual instrument must be filtered and fine-tuned.

You must silence:

The voice of self

The voice of culture

The voice of the enemy

And tune in by:

Fasting and prayer

Practicing stillness and solitude

Read the Word – Scripture tunes your discernment

Practice obedience – The more you obey, the clearer His voice becomes

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.” — Proverbs 3:5–6

“Those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God.” — Romans 8:14

Patience and waiting are part of this process.

5. We Must Not Just Wait—We Must Wait on God’s Word
Waiting without direction leads to frustration. But waiting on God’s word brings peace and clarity.

Joseph, David, Abraham—all waited faithfully, trusting God’s timing and guidance.

“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” — Psalm 119:105

Waiting is not passive—it is active trust and obedience.

Conclusion: You Are Not Alone on This Journey
Even when you feel lost, God is guiding you.
Even when He seems silent, He is near.
Even when the road is unclear, He sees the whole map.

Listen carefully. Tune your heart. Walk by His voice.
You are not alone.

12/05/2025

One day, you will face a trial. When that day comes, you will present your statement—your version of the story. Your advocate will argue on your behalf based on what you have declared. But when the trial intensifies, your integrity—your true foundation—will be tested. The same is true of faith.

Take the story of Job: what stood out about him wasn’t that he never questioned or struggled, but that he never spoke falsely about God. That’s how his story ended—with integrity intact.

Consider Elijah—a man who prayed, and the rain stopped for three and a half years. He boldly declared, “If God is God, then let Him alone be worshiped.” This same man, who once stood with authority and had even been secretly supported by Obadiah, fled in fear after Jezebel threatened him. He became so overwhelmed, he wanted to die—this was after calling down fire from heaven and praying rain back to the land. The same man who outran horses now found himself broken.

This shows us something: a test will come to every person—a test strong enough to break you unless your confession remains unchanged. The moment you alter your testimony, you've already lost. Your advocate will have no grounds to defend you. You will have, in essence, put the weapon to your own head.

My advice is this: let your truth remain your truth. The words you speak before the trial are often right. The trial will try to force you to change them. Don’t. Hold your ground. That will be your victory.

Look at the Apostle Paul. While in prison, he had the chance to be released—if only he didn’t appeal to Caesar. But Paul had already declared, “I appeal to Caesar.” That choice cost him freedom, but he stood by his word. He had settled it in his heart, regardless of the opportunity to escape.

Now, let’s talk about Peter.
Peter was ready to die with Jesus. He boldly declared that he would follow Jesus to the point of death. But when fear gripped him, he denied Jesus three times. He had the courage to die with Jesus, but in the moment of trial, fear crippled him, and he caved.

At that time, Peter had seen Jesus perform miracles, heard Him speak with authority, and knew Jesus was the Son of God. Peter himself had declared, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” But when he saw Jesus, the mighty and powerful Son of God, captured so easily, Peter's faith wavered.

It’s easy to stand firm when we envision victory and power, but when things don’t align with our expectations—when we don't see divine intervention in the way we imagined—it shakes our foundation. Peter had envisioned a mighty, invincible Jesus, but when faced with the reality of the trial, his vision of the story shifted. Fear took over. He changed his story in that moment.

Just like Peter, trials can distort our vision and make us question what we once knew to be true. But even in the moment of failure, Peter’s story didn’t end there. His vision was restored, and he stood strong again in faith.

Don’t let fear change your story. Stand firm in the truth. Victory comes when your confession remains unwavering.

Relationship with God- Getting to Know Him Better

Luke 9:18–20

18 Now it happened that as he was praying alone, the disciples were with him. And he asked them, “Who do the crowds say that I am?” 19 And they answered, John the Baptist. But others say, Elijah, and others, that one of the prophets of old has risen.” 20 Then he said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” And Peter answered, “You are Christ, the son of the living God.

So, Jesus has walked with these giants and is now asking them a question. Who do people say I am? Then they started telling him all the names they heard people calling him by. Then he asked them (his disciples), I heard who people think I am, what about you guys? Who do you say I the son of man is? Peter stood up to say you are no son of man, you are Christ the son of the living God. Peter learnt and obsessed about who Jesus was, and then God the Father revealed it to Peter. God reveals himself if we desire to know him. We should invest more time in getting to know him, than we do in learning how to get things from him. No one likes friends or people who hang around just to suck the nectar out of them. Unconditional love, not material things governs the best relationship. A relationship founded on love rather than material things has material things running in like stream water to feed the dam or an ocean. It has to happen spontaneously without anyone having to ask.

Many sermons in our different denominations teach us about how to get things from God and only a few sermons teach us how to know him better. We can’t know what comes from God and what comes from the enemy because we don’t know who God is. You see, I have friends and if anyone comes to me and tells me, Retshelisitsoe said this. I am in a good position to tell whether those words came from my friend or it is simply a tailored version because I know him well enough. In the same way, when we know God well enough, we will be in a good position to know his ways, his seeds and his voice in a manner that we will be able to distinguish them from those of the enemy. I want to tell you today, that we often say somehow the voice of the Devil can be forged to mimic that of God, but I want to tell you, that they are far different. Our voices, the voice of Satan are different from that of God, but we fail to distinguish them because we know less about God. Have seen infants, if they have not seen their mother for a few hours, they will remain calm until they hear that one voice greeting the neighbour outside. Then drama begins, for they know without doubt; that that is my mom’s voice.

The answers we seek concerning our spiritual life and life, in general, are mostly contained in a vessel relationship we have with our Heavenly Father. He is life, so we can’t have life without him, not in any way. To understand his response about any situation you are going through it all rests on knowledge of who he is. Such perception controls every aspect of our life, our lives display the level of knowledge we have regarding God’s attributes. Attributes of God are the characteristics that better define him to our understanding: He is infinite (he has got no origin), he is gracious, merciful, he is loving, he is omniscient (he knows everything), omnipresent, he is the same every day (unchanging), he is God of Justice, he is self-sufficient (he does not need help), he is faithful, holy, all-wise and glorious. There are many other attributes you can discover as you build your relationship with him. Building a relationship with God is a choice that is influenced by value. Some will see a need while others will see no need. It is no surprise; it has been like that for years. We all meet people today and wake up leaking the most sensitive information that will jeopardise everything. That’s a blind trust, which has nothing to do with faith work. Unlike man, God does not force himself into our lives, he simply allows us to get to know him better, and every individual has a unique perspective of who he is. He has a track record with men so we will know what kind of God we are dealing with. A road without signs is loved by those who are doing human trafficking; hence our God has exonerated himself in a mess. This is to say if you are on the road where you can’t read signs, or display boards at least you won’t be able to escape. That’s how people get kidnapped, following blind signs. I do know as Christians we are not walking by sight, but we are following the path we know. Jesus did say, “You know the way to the place where I am going.” John 14:4

While still on this, lend me a few minutes to address another issue. I want to tackle another mistake I have seen young people making. Most young people date people they know less about them. They make wrong inferences and suspicions because they do not know each other well enough to know their partner’s true soul and spirit. They get fooled by physical looks, and then they start indulging in pre-marital s*x with the person they do not know their true intentions, desires, or who they serve, the Devil or God. The fact that you met a person in the church does not make them Christian (Christ-like). If you could have at least zipped your trousers and built a friend, not a lover, it would have been better, you wouldn’t have slept with more than 5 people before you entered into marriage. If you are not married yet, you still have time to make it right.

Paul the apostle of Jesus Christ, once said, “I want to know Christ and the power of his resurrection.” Philippians 3:10. Yes, he had seen God performing signs and wonders (all sorts of miracles), but he wanted to get to the knowledge of “I am that I am”. God is not defined by miracles, though miracles are part of his kingdom, In the same way, we are not defined but what we have, but by who we are so is God. Who do you see him as outside miracles and all that he can do? Eve didn’t know God well enough, so he fell into a trap. If she knew God, she could have rebuked the serpent and said not my God, he is neither a liar nor a cheater. He provided all that I wanted. Many People left God because they believed false stories. Is it not the same reason why many of us broke up with our spouses, and distance ourselves from our siblings or colleagues just because we believed lies? When Prophet Nathan came to King David, to make him choose between 3 kinds of punishments God meant for David and his nation, David chose to fall into God’s hand rather than the hand of man, for he knew God is compassionate, loving, merciful and gracious. See 2 Samuel 24:13-14

Are you safe in God’s hand right from where you are standing? Do you know him well enough to tell if what has befallen your life comes from him? When the enemy threatens you, do you ever ask what God’s opinions are about the situation? When a situation comes do you ever ask how God could have addressed it (responded to it) and then followed in his steps? Can you trust him for the restoration of your life? Are you able to know what is within your capacity and his capacity? Is your God big enough such that when you worship, he becomes the only visible picture before your eyes? Can you come to your senses in the worst situation and speak like Job and say, “I know my redeemer lives, in the end, he will stand in the world”? Job 19:25. Can you leave your loved ones with final words like the ones spoken by Moses to Joshua (God himself will lead You-Deuteronomy 31:8), Joseph to Israelites (God will remember you and deliver you out of here-Egypt)? (Genesis 50:24)

I realised that holy life becomes difficult because we don’t understand how Holy God is. We don’t understand why he wants us to be like him. You know I love examples because they help us understand much more quickly. Let’s say you just interned your wise school son or daughter in your business. Guess what, the first 5 months or more, the chances are that your child will be mistreating customers, stealing money and doing all things that will make a business go bankrupt. If somehow, they discover how valuable the business is in your life as a parent and their life as a child, believe me, they will stop whatever nonsense they were doing immediately. The more they grow in that business, the more they have the same vision and mission as the founder. They are not acting responsibly without being told to do so and it now looks so easy. They have grown very fond of the whole business, such that they even restrict you (the owner) and everyone else from making unnecessary withdrawals. Many of us passed through several stages where we were told to do things, and they looked so difficult, that we felt like we were being punished. However, today they are easy things to do, we don’t need to be reminded. Even holiness will be much easier when we immerse ourselves into God’s divine will and covenant. “Self-driven individuals will be written on our heavenly CVs.”

If a man has a good relationship with God, God won’t mind when his name is linked with a Man's name. You see he called himself God of Israel (Jacob), God of Abraham, God of Isaac, you name them. In that case, God’s repetition rests on man, for Yahweh’s name is upon him. When a man is like Christ, he can do more than what Jesus Christ did while he was on earth because he reveals his deep secrets of victory to us. God gives men names and man gives God names based on how he was revealed. Many of the names of God, that we see in the Bible today, came from people who encountered and got to know him. They named him based on how he revealed himself to them, the same can happen to us. We see him differently as it has been for years. Encounter and know God for yourself. May the favour of the one who dwelt in a bush be with You. Deuteronomy 33:16

Before I end my message, I want to show you something. David won God’s heart because he grew to know Him. He passed the same privilege to his son, Solomon. What made Solomon unique among the sons of David was his strong relationship with Jehovah. That is why no one could ever take the throne for as long as he was alive. He did mess up at the end, but his father gave him a good foundation. Solomon learnt the secret of his father and he chose that path. In Israel, good kings, are those who pay attention to what God loves. God is light, so seek light and your life will be better.

2 Corinthians 4:6
ESV For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

God Bless You!!!

I did not want to delve much into God’s attributes; I wanted to deal with the topic separately. It will follow shortly after this text.

I wanted to correct the misinterpretation of patience particularly about Story of Job. Someone has already given a better view or argument, so I will just paste his view as it is.

Source:“ FAITH: The Link with GOD's Power by Reinhard Bonnke”

James gives us another illustration of the patience of Job. In what way was Job patient? Many have said he was patient with his sufferings, but the third chapter of Job in no way sounds like that. It begins:
After this Job opened his mouth and cursed the day of his birth. And Job spoke, and said: "May the day perish on which I was born, and the night in which it was said, 'A male child is conceived. "" (Job 3:1-3)
He continues in this strain for twenty-six verses, in which one thing is very prominently missing any sign of patience with suffering. In fact, the Bible as a whole does not display marked toleration of suffering. Unlike all other religions, which demand resignation, the Bible's faith protests against illnesses and pain. In the first five books of the New Testament which is more than half of it, Jesus leads an attack upon physical suffering as the work of the devil. Christ displayed no patience with the world's misery.
Job's patience was not with his afflictions but with God. This great man showed not a flicker of mistrust in that direction. Puzzlement yes, questions yes, frustration yes, but not agitated criticism of God. He uses some of the greatest phrases we know:
Then let come on me what may. (Job 13:13)
Though He slay me, yet will I trust Him. (Job 13:15)
For I know that my Redeemer lives... and after my skin is destroyed, this I know, that in my flesh I shall see God. (Job 19:25-26)
When He has tested me, I shall come forth as gold. (Job 23:10)
The Lord later said Job had spoken rightly of Him: "For you have not spoken of Me what is right, as My servant Job has" (Job 42:7).
Many ask about sickness and suffering. Why does God permit it? Why has God not yet healed this one? What they need is a healing, not an explanation. Explanations do not help very much if we have a toothache! Job gives us the true answer to suffering faith, continuing to believe in God. To do that, we need patience, which is the quality of faith.
Not only James but also Jesus spoke of the patience of faith. In Luke 18, a judge who did not care about God or man brushed aside a widow who needed justice. But she kept coming back until he decided he had better deal with her or she would never stop pestering him. As Jesus said, if an unjust judge would act like that, how much more "shall God not avenge His elect boy and night to Him, though He bears long with them" (Luke 18:7).

Patience Wins

Devil has studied humanity from an early age, and he knows, that for him to win men, he must wait at the border of patience. There he will catch many illegal migrants. You can have faith, but without patience, you won’t reach your destiny. Everything will be aborted right before your eyes until you quit. Having patience makes us perfect and complete so that nothing is lacking from us (James 1:2-4). In that way, we can beat the devil on the open ground. Taking an example from our Lord Jesus, the Devil waited for him for 40 days to tempt him. He waited until he was physically hungry and weary so that he could bring great offers (Mathew 4:1-11). Likewise, the Devil will exhaust us and strike when we are mostly weak. This practice was employed by ancient counsellors, slave masters or kings; After the first capture (arrest) they would know a prisoner was still strong enough to resist, so they would keep him in prison until he got weary, and forget about his kingdom and everyone he ever cares about. When he gives up on himself and his previous positions, that’s when they will bring offers. The Devil is also that patient, that is why we need to be far more patient to defeat him. Patience makes us well-aligned, positioned and liable to win.

Like any parent, God spends most of the time developing patience in us. We never see the purpose of patience as we are living in a world ruled by time. The flesh doesn’t have patience, for beyond patience it sees blind glory. In my last message, I spoke about idolizing our problems. Idolism does not only end with troubles, but even goals can be idols. Have you ever seen possible situations become immediately impossible once you start idolizing them, feeling like you are dying to see that day of such great achievement? Don’t get me wrong, it is good to set goals, affirm those goals and be ambitious. I only brought up the word ambition to justify my point, so it is not a harmful word in this context. The ambition here implies aiming above normal (mediocrity), which is the first stimulant for any man who wants to be prosperous.

It is easy to set goals, but achieving goals takes not only effort but patience at its mighty stand. I don’t remember who said this, but one Pastor jokingly called Christians of today, “microwave Christians.” I think this doesn’t only apply to Christians but to the whole present generation. We want to be drivers of time, if God could ever ask us, what is it that he should do for us, we would manipulatively tell him to put us in charge of time, so that we never have to wait. One won’t be surprised that most of our generation enter into marriage having fornicated with more than one person because it was difficult to wait until we stand before elders and pastors and say “until death does us part”. What is done in marriage is what this generation is already doing, they can’t hold themselves any longer. Anything that requires patience is the worst alternative for us. We don’t have permanent jobs, relationships, settlements or any other thing because they were not built on a foundation of patience. We can’t expect anything to be sustainable if we wake up tomorrow to build and finish the same day.

We are full of regrets, for the consequences resulted from lack of patience. We never weighed options, we only accepted available offers and we got bitter fruits. Even so, we still fail to repent, we repeat the same mistakes over and over. I came to a season when I realised God blessed me with a lot of gifts, but patience was never part of those or perhaps it took long to manifest. I had to learn it the hard way, after being broken into pieces. Every part of my body was broken to Mold me into a new creation. I died of myself and Jesus was born in me, that’s how patience received an apartment in my heart.

We die, because we want things so bad, within a short time frame. We subdue anything rather than ourselves. We never try to tame our flesh. We are always in tremendous frustration with God, parents, friends and nature because times do not align well with our desires. We believe we are more organized than God, and for that, we feel betrayed every day. Likely God cannot be manipulated by our emotions, he is not a man to fall into a trap of human emotions. I often see parents letting kids cry until they stop crying yet they never received what they wanted to trick parents to provide. What more of our heavenly father? You come up crying and using emotional blackmail thinking he will buy your Story? No, God is smarter than that, he is all-wise. He lives in eternity; time doesn’t rule in his presence. He is more organized than a man can ever think.

Let’s demonstrate how organized our God is. But first, I want us to understand the meaning of being well organised. In real life, when we speak about well-organised events or people, we refer to those people who planned ahead of time or events that were planned long before they came. In that way everything will look perfect, no shortages will be encountered, and no unforeseen things will catch us by surprise. Let’s make an example of a newly married couple, before this couple has their first kid, they will first sit down and plan how many kids they want and what kind of education they want for their children based on the current economy. After an agreement, they start preparing everything for the future of their children before they are even born, so that the minute kids are born, raising them and meeting their needs won’t be a problem. You see, you plan for kids before you build a house, buy a car or anything since their future is the priority.

Now that we understand from the earthly perspective, we can move on to the heavenly perspective. God, my lovely father, planned our future before the foundation of the world. If parents plan the future before they build the house, God also planned our future before he created the world. We see the world as a big thing above God’s capacity, that’s because we are spiritual kids. Infants also see a house as the biggest thing. If they get old enough to see Tonato taking away the rooftop of their house, they will see an impossible situation because they don’t know that their parents have savings or insurance cover. Have you got it? Yes, our God knew us before we were formed in our mothers’ wombs. He planned our lives before our great-grandfathers were born, so nothing catches God by surprise. Nothing can abort his mission. He told Abraham before Abraham could even have the first child, “Your descendants will take 400 years in Exile” (Genesis 15:13). Then Israelites as they were suffering, may have thought God had abandoned them or perhaps failed as per his mission not knowing he knew long before they were even born. How many Years? Isaac was born, Jacob was born, and then Joseph was born, that’s when the children of Israel entered Egypt where they would be exiled.

The Bible calls Jesus the Lamb of God who was slain from before the foundations of the world (Revelation 13:8). So, God, knew before he created humans that at one point, they would sin against him, and he already prepared his son to die for the nations to reconcile with his people. No sin, I don’t care how many worst sins you have committed, killed, robbed people whatever, and you think you are beyond repair. God has long prepared your deliverance, just accept it. You will be a new creation. Our failures and all sufferings were long written in his book, we are living according to the book when we are in Christ. When Christ was living in this world, he lived according to the scriptures, everything that was going to happen was already in the book, so nothing ever happened which was not written. Let’s pick one simple example, when he died on the Cross, his bones were supposed to be broken as the practice in those days to let people die quickly, by breaking their legs (shin), so they can lose balance of the weight from the cross. The people who crucified him, broke the legs of the other two thieves, and then when they got to Jesus, he was already dead, so the scripture that says, “None of his bones will be broken” will be fulfilled (John 19:31-37 and Psalm 34:20). His being crucified with thieves as though he was wicked, never caught God by surprise because he did write, “He is counted among the wicked” (Isaiah 53:12).

God knows that at one point you will fail at school, he knows your parent will die in the middle of your studies or exams. He knows that one day you will lose your job or even be a dropout. This is why as all these are happening you need to be far closer to him so that he will direct your path. There is a living for all and living was never placed in the palace for kings, even low-borns have enough for living. A street kid without parents can still have a bright future. If we can ask people to testify about where they come from, we will hear many didn’t have what it takes except their life. They chose what to do with that life not cry over what they lost or don’t have. Everything you need is right here in this world. He created the world; he knows every part of it. When he placed us in this world, all that we needed was already in place. Money, clothes and all that we need don’t come from heaven, it is right here on Earth. Walk with him, and he will lead you to green pastures—Chase purpose, not money. Life is not about chasing money, for it is like chasing wind (patience killer and source of frustration).

Brethren, our God is far organised. Live every day without fear, knowing that what is coming your way is soothing he has seen before. Walk with your head up straight for he is still in charge. God like to let the Devil go first believe me. Why, because God is too sure of himself. Only the devil rushes because he doesn’t have certainty. He knows if he lets your children grow in the house of God, he has already lost them, so he starts to influence them from a young age. He knows if your things go well at the beginning, you will resist him when he tries to bring afflictions, so he starts first by turning against God. But God will catch you, do not worry. There is time for the Devil to rule and mess up your life, but it shall surely turn out to the Lord, and the Devil’s time will be over with you. Assurances stand: darkness is followed by light, having a share in sufferings gives us a share in comfort, and a day of jubilee (restoration) comes to all of us through our lord Jesus Christ. We approach the throne of grace with boldness because we know that at the right time, God will set us free in all our sufferings (Psalm 34:19).

“3 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. 4 For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love 5he predestined us for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will— 6to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves.” Ephesians 1: 3-6

Have patience, live and do all that is within your capacity the rest to God. When people ask you how long are going to wait for an unresponsive God, tell them, he is coming to set you free. Halleluiah.

God Bless You!!!
