The Archdiocesan Youth Secretariat extend prayerful best wishes to the Parish Priest Rev Fr. Terence Jallah Marvolo, the Associatie Parish Priest Rev Fr. Paul T. Folleh and members of St. Monica Parish especially the Catholic Youth Organization of St. Monica Parish in Gbarpolu County Bopolu City on the occasion marking their Feast Day.
May St. Monica intercede for mother's who are struggling in caring for their children and family.
Today the young people of St. Monica Parish concluded their nine days novena with a retreat held under the theme Faith-base and uplifting.
The retreat brought together Young People from the main parish along with their outstations.
The participants were encourage to keep focused on the Christ and also learned to believe and trust in him. There three speakers challenge the participants to remain committed in prayer and also exercise their faith through works and deeds.
Fr. Terence in his brief homily called on there young people to persistent in all that they do. He talks about the confusion of St. Augustine of Hippo who he said was the Son of St. Monica. He said as a young man he was very troublesome and cause his month many problem. He said St. Monica never give up on him but was constantly and persistently seeking the face of God and asking for the conversion of her son.
