Message from the Progressive Health Initiative of Liberia (PHIL Inc.)

Today, as we join hands with the global community in celebrating World Malaria Day, we at the Progressive Health Initiative of Liberia (PHIL Inc.) reaffirm our commitment to the fight against malaria, a preventable and treatable disease that continues to pose a significant threat to health in our country.

Malaria remains one of the leading causes of morbidity and mortality in Liberia, especially among vulnerable populations such as children under five and pregnant women. While we acknowledge the progress made in malaria prevention and control, the battle is far from over. It is crucial that we enhance our collective efforts to eliminate this disease and safeguard the health and future of our communities.

On this significant day, we seize the opportunity to call upon humanitarian organizations, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), government agencies, partners, donors, the international community, local organizations, the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Liberia, and the National Public Health Institute of Liberia (NPHIL) to lend their support. We urge you to consider contributing financially to the efforts of PHIL Inc. in combating malaria. Your support can help us to expand our outreach programs, provide essential resources, and implement effective interventions tailored to our communities' needs.
