What do you think is the biggest distraction that keeps Christians from truly listening to God?

Many of us rush into church without examining our hearts.

We come ready to sing, but not ready to obey.
We come ready to speak, but not ready to listen.
We hear sermons every week, yet remain unchanged.

God is not looking for religious performances. He desires humble hearts that tremble at His Word.

Church attendance is not a substitute for repentance.
Worship is not a substitute for obedience.
Knowledge is not a substitute for holiness.

Before we point at the sins of the world, we must ask ourselves:

Am I truly listening to God?
Am I obeying what I already know?
Have I become comfortable with hearing the truth but not doing it?

May we guard our steps, examine our hearts, and approach God with reverence rather than empty religion.

Sometimes we think:
“If God already said He will do it, why pray?”

But prayer is not about changing God’s mind.
It is about aligning our hearts with His will and walking in dependence on Him.

If Jesus Christ suffered, the apostle suffered and even the old Patriarch(Moses, Abraham), how much more for the believers!
There's no glorification without humiliation - humble yourself and you will be lifted up.
