KBFの働きに一貫する３つのキーワードは「愛、受け入れ、赦し」です

神様はこれら3つのことをひとり子、イエス様をこの世に送って下さった、ということによって私達に示して下さり、私達もこの姿勢を私達の住むこの世の中に向かって示していきたいと思っています。

「私達が救われるのは、私達の良い行いによってではなく、神様の恵み(一方的な好意)によるのである」ということをモットーに、KBFはどなたでも歓迎して、イエス・キリストのことを知ってもらうという、「オープンドアポリシー(神様への扉を開いたままにしておくということ)」を、終始一貫して持っているのです。

イエス様は、「ワイン用の古くなった皮袋に新しいワインをつめ込むと、新しいワインは膨張しすぎて破裂してしまう」ということを教えられました。この新しい皮袋に関する教えが現代においても意味を持っており、私達KBFがいかに聖書的に教会を運営していくか、ということを考える土台となっています。

例えば、牧師は人々の上に立つ支配的な力としてではなく、むしろ、仕える心を持つ人としての模範となるべきである、という理解や、意味を失いつつある伝統的な教会のプログラムをこなしていくよりも、人々の人生に触れる新しい方法を模索する、という意気込みがしっかりとKBFの中に根付いているのです。

私達の礼拝のスタイルは、現代的な音楽と、クリスチャンでない人々に対する細やかな心くばりによって、気楽に参加できるようなものとなっています。

また、日本が急速に国際化の一途をたどる中で、KBFの礼拝のメッセージも多くは2カ国語(日本語と英語)で行われています。

私達KBFの目標は、このようなスタイルの新しい皮袋の教会を数多く立てあげていくことによって、イエス・キリストの福音を宣べ伝えていくことです。イエス・キリストの福音こそが、現代の人々の諸問題に対する確たる答えだということ、又、もし私達が人々を招き入れる心あたたまる環境を整えていくならば、多くの方々がイエス様を信じるようになる、ということを確信しています。

あなたがクリスチャンであってもなくても、どうぞＫＢＦにいらして下さい。

共に神様の愛を体験することを心より願っております。

天国とは、いったいどのような場所なのでしょうか？聖書によると、天国は私たちが死んだ後に行く場所というだけではありません。そこは、この世界のさまざまな問題や苦しみから解放され、神様と共に生きる場所です。イエス様を通して、神様は私たちが永遠に神様と共にいるための道を開いてくださいました。そして、将来、神様と共に永遠に生きることができると知ると、今の私たちの生き方も変わります。目に見えるものだけに心を向けるのではなく、いつまでも残るもの、つまり神様との関係や、周りの人を愛し、大切にすることに心を向けるようになるのです。
