Shortly after today’s church, a group of thugs dressed in Tanu Security uniforms the same individuals alleged to have attacked the Brothers’ Quarters last week at the Tansian University Oba Campus reportedly launched yet another violent attack, this time on Rev. Valentine.

Armed with cutlasses and other dangerous weapons, they brutally assaulted him, inflicting severe injuries and multiple cuts on his body, leaving him bleeding profusely. The horrifying incident reportedly occurred in the presence of students and other eyewitnesses, thereby deepening the atmosphere of fear, tension, and insecurity within the Tansian University Oba campus community. Rev. Val has since been rushed to the hospital and is currently receiving urgent medical attention.

In humility, I sincerely urge the Catholic Bishop of Awka to quickly withdraw his priests especially Rev. Fr. Edwin Obiora SAN whose services are no longer needed, in order to avoid further escalation of violence and prevent more tragic occurrences.

No institution of learning should become a theatre of bloodshed, intimidation, and lawlessness. Violence against priests, religious, students, and unarmed civilians can never be justified under any circumstance. The safety of human life must remain paramount, and every responsible authority should rise urgently to ensure peace, order, justice, and the protection of lives and property within the Tansian University Oba campus environment.

As of today, reports indicate that the Commissioner of Police in Anambra State has allegedly washed his hands off the matter. Sources further claim that he is no longer interested in the case. If these reports are true, such a development is deeply troubling and may have contributed to the further escalation of violence and lawlessness presently being witnessed.

I therefore call on the National Universities Commission (NUC), the Anambra State Government, and the Inspector General of Police to urgently swing into action before the situation degenerates further into complete anarchy.

Those criminal elements parading themselves as security operatives and thugs must be immediately brought to book and made to face the full weight of the law. No society governed by law and order should tolerate the reign of intimidation, brutality, and violence being unleashed within an academic environment.

The continuous attacks, harassment, and bloodshed being reported are not only condemnable but also constitute a grave threat to human life, institutional peace, and public safety. Silence or inaction in the face of such lawlessness may embolden perpetrators and further endanger innocent lives.

Justice must prevail. Peace must be restored. And those responsible for these violent acts must be held accountable.

May truth prevail, may justice be served, and may peace return to Tansian University.

Shalom Haverim!

After boldly circulating sensational allegations and repeatedly insisting that all the evidence was available, an apology has now emerged claiming that the story was based on misinformation. This raises serious questions about the responsibility that accompanies the use of social media.

The allegations were presented with remarkable certainty. Detailed claims were made concerning a priest allegedly ordained two years ago, a married woman, five children, contraceptive use, transfers between dioceses and parishes, and other particulars. The narrative was told with such confidence that many readers could easily have assumed that the author possessed verifiable facts.

Yet serious inconsistencies quickly become apparent. If the woman was said to be residing in Lagos while the priest was serving in Nsukka, how exactly does the story fit together? Since when does a priest personally determine his own pastoral posting independent of ecclesiastical authority? Most importantly, where is the evidence? Where is the identifiable priest? Where are the verifiable facts supporting such grave accusations?

The lesson here is simple: allegations are not evidence. Repetition is not proof. Confidence is not verification. Social media is not a courtroom, and a person's reputation should never be subjected to public destruction on the basis of rumours, assumptions, or unverified stories.

If allegations are true, they should be supported by credible evidence and subjected to proper investigation. If they are false, then those whose reputations have been harmed deserve justice and vindication. Accountability applies not only to actions but also to words.

From a very reliable source, some individuals have decided to petition this woman and possibly take her to court to compel her to provide all the evidence she claimed to possess, identify the priest in question, and conduct DNA tests on the alleged five children. Of course, these DNA tests would have to be carried out in an imaginary hospital by imaginary laboratory scientists if the children themselves are imaginary.

Perhaps by the time the law enforcement agencies conclude their investigations, she will come to understand that social media is not a platform for making allegations that cannot be substantiated. She is now offering an apology, but she must still provide evidence for her claims; otherwise, she may find herself in very serious trouble.

May this serve as a reminder that truth matters, evidence matters, and reputations matter. Before publishing accusations capable of destroying lives and ministries, one must first be prepared to substantiate every claim. May God grant all involved the grace of repentance, wisdom, humility, and conversion of heart.

Shalom Haverim!

A Police Officer has just been Sentenced to De@th for Torturing and Killing a Suspect

Not an armed r0bber.
Not a kidn@pper.
A Police Sergeant.

According to reports, this Sgt. was sentenced to de@th by hanging by the Akwa Ibom State High Court over the t0rture and killing of a suspect who was allegedly being investigated for a BAILABLE offence.

A bailable offence.
Meaning that person was not supposed to lose his life in custody.

This case is bigger than one police officer. It is a strong reminder that a police station is not a slaughter house and an investigation room is not a torture chamber.

Many people still do not know this

The law does NOT permit the Police to t0rture suspects in order to obtain confessions.

The law does NOT allow officers to beat, brutalize or dehumanize suspects because they are “trying to extract the truth.”

And most importantly a suspect is still entitled to human rights until a Court says otherwise.

Too many people have d!ed in silence inside detention cells because some officers believe power gives them immunity.

But this judgment is sending a message across the country

Uniform is not a licence to k!ll
If a civilian can face the law for murder, a police officer can also face the law for murder.

This is why citizens must understand their rights:

🥢 You have the right to remain silent.
🥢 You have the right to a lawyer.
🥢 You have the right not to be t0rtured.
🥢 You have the right to be charged to court within the time prescribed by law.

And if a suspect d!es in unlawful custody, the law can hold those responsible accountable.

One painful truth is this

Many officers who engage in t0rture think nobody will challenge them.
Many citizens also wrongly believe “nothing will happen.”

But sometimes, the law catches up and when it does, the consequences can be irreversible.

Ignorance of the law is never an excuse.

Copied

I married a s!πgle M0ther who has a 3 year old daughter. I promised her I would take care of her and her ch!ld. We later have 3 ch!ldren of our own. No one could tell if I am not the father of my stepdaughter. I love her and trained her in the best university. She’s now a medical doctor and 27 years old.

When she told me she was getting married, I was the happiest man. I pa!d for everything that would make the wedding successful. The hall, food and dr!πks, wedding cake, engagement party, reception and everything .

So few days to the wedding my daughter told me she would want her bi0logical father to walk her d0wn the aisle and her mother supported her. This was the father that didn’t 0ffer any assistance to the ch!ld all these years, they met again 6 months ago.

After 24 years of my sw£∆t he wants to reap where he didn’t sow . I didn’t argue with my wife and daughter,I called all the vendors I paid to and C∆πcelled the arrangement and C0llected my money. I told my daughter to tell her father to p∆y for those things if he wants his daughter to marry on that day and I travelled out of the country

They are now calling me a w!!cked man. What’s your opinion on my actions???

_ A Nigerian man has come forward to share how he C∆πcelled his daughter’s wedding because the bride's father wanted to take his glory, sparking debate online.
