AssalamuAlaikum,

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

Eid Mubarak!!!

After an early morning inspection, we are writing to confirm that Eid Salah will be offered at Pond Lane, Durrington, Worthing, BN13 2RH.

Please bring a prayer mat with you and make wudhu from home.

As it's likely to be hot, please also bring your own bottled water to 'stay hydrated'.

In Sha Allah, there will be a collection for the Masjid development project. Please donate generously.

Please read the following in full:

*VENUE in the event of good weather:*

Pond Lane Ground, Durrington, Worthing, BN13 2RH.

*TIMINGS*

Bayan start: 9:00am
Eid Jamaat: 9:15am

*PLEASE NOTE:*

1) Make Wudhu at home

2) * Bring a prayer mat, bin liner and bag for shoes* with you.
If there is no space on the tarpaulin, please lay your prayer mat on the bin liner.

3) Park legally and in a manner not to inconvenience others.

4) Please follow all the instructions and directions given by the Masjid volunteers.

5) There will be no Eid jamaat offered in the Masjid if the weather is good and Eid Salah is offered in the park.

6) 'Stay Hydrated' by bringing a filled water bottle from home.

Please call Imam Idris (07875540605) or Brother Ali Rahman (07873707296) if in doubt about the venue. Alternatively, you can check our Masjid page or the Masjid website to find out the final decision. This is usually made at around 7am. on Eid day.

There will be 3 Jamaats at the Masjid *if the weather is bad:*

1st Jamaat: 08:30am (English Bayan at 08:15am)
2nd Jamaat: 09:30am
3rd Jamaat: 10:30am

Please note: Parking spaces on Ivy Arch Road are extremely limited, so we request attendees to park sensibly elsewhere.

Sisters are welcome to attend and there will be allocated space for the sisters, whether Eid salah is offered outdoors or in the Masjid.

Once the prayer area is full, the masjid doors will be locked. Late arrivals will have to wait for the next Eid Jamaat. This applies to both the men’s and ladies’ prayer areas.

Finally, we make duaa that Allah grants a joyous and spiritually uplifting Eid to all the Muslims around the world and may he accept our Udhiya/ Qurbani (Ameen).

On Friday 29th May 2026, brothers from Richmond Masjid (Charity No.: 1213388) will be coming to Worthing Masjid to do a collection. The funds collected will be put towards current emergency appeals for their Masjid Development Project.

Khutbah and Salah: 1.25pm.

*_2nd Jumuah_*

Khutbah and Salah: 2pm.

Please arrive early for the 1st Jumuah. Once the Masjid is full, the doors will be locked.
