What a glorious day for our Easter Monday walk from Burpham village hall! Just over 9km walked in the sunshine finishing with tea, cakes and quizzes with more of our friends afterwards.
We've had all sorts of weather over the years...rain, snow, torrential rain and wind and sun so hot we got sunburnt! We always have a wonderful time together though!

What a wonderful service we had this morning. It was great to see so many celebrating with us!
The cross looked beautiful by the end of the morning and Freya got creative during the service making this empty tomb out of blocks. 😊

It was great to worship together this morning.

Our theme was:
Crowds and called...

It is a comfort and encouragement to be part of a crowd, and when it comes to helping others and receiving help, the more the merrier.

However, Jesus calls each and every one of us into a personal relationship with him. Even though we are part of a crowd, at school, at work and in our community, he is always there with each one of us individually.

Wow! What a brilliant afternoon of Quizzing!
21 teams took part and we all had a lot of fun!
Thanks to everyone who was involved in making today happen and a special thanks must go to Alan Sweetman-Hicks for being a fabulous quiz master and making us think...a lot!
Thanks too to everyone that came along to take part.
An amazing £465 was raised to go towards Lawrence's trip to Ecuador with Camps International in the summer.
One last event remains which sees Barbara Seale walk 100 miles in 10 weeks which is quite a 'feet' for someone who turned 80 at the end of last year! 👣 Go Barbara! We think you're amazing! 🙌🏻

It was great to see the church so full and set up so differently in our modified multi purpose sanctuary. Why not come and join us tomorrow to see what what Sunday looks like!
We meet together for worship at 10.30am to sing, pray, learn and share communion.
