Messy Church yesterday was full of colour, creativity, and laughter—reminding us that Spring isn’t the only thing bringing new life… God is too!

We explored the theme “Spring Is Coming – God Is On The Move” and discovered how God brings hope, growth, and new beginnings, even in places that feel quiet or empty.

Through crafts, stories, and play, we were reminded to look out for the small signs of what God is doing—and to take time to pause, listen, and trust Him.

As you go into this week, why not ask God:
✨ What are You doing around me right now?
✨ What are You growing?
✨ Where are You moving?

Spring often starts small… and so does a move of God. Let’s keep our eyes open.

On Sunday, we shared a sense that we may be stepping into a new season together.

Like the quiet arrival of spring, change isn’t always immediate or obvious but small signs begin to show that something new is growing. There’s a sense of hearts being stirred and new opportunities taking shape.

It feels like an invitation to slow down, make space, and be attentive — to listen, to love, and to be open to what God might be doing in and around us.

It’s an exciting and hopeful moment, full of possibility for the church and our community.

The Basement is open again today and tomorrow (Tuesday and Wednesday) 10am-12pm at The Golden Ball for the school uniform bank and Arise children's clothing. As always, everything is free for you to take what you need.

We loved seeing so many people at The School Uniform Giveaway on Saturday and a huge thank you to all the volunteers that came along and made the event possible. We still have lots of uniform left so if you've found your kids have had a growth spurt over Easter, pop along, donate your old uniform if it still has lots of wear left in it and pick up some new. 😊

Uniform Donations Needed!

Tomorrow (Friday 10th April) is our School Uniform Donation Drop Off day at The Golden Ball, 9am–5pm. If you have any good quality school uniform you no longer need, this is a great chance to pass it on and help support local families ahead of Saturday’s giveaway.

On Saturday (1pm–3pm), families can visit The Golden Ball (3 Victoria Square) for our FREE School Uniform Giveaway. We already have some brand new summer items, including gingham dresses and shorts, plus preloved uniform with school logos available.

On Saturday (1pm-3pm) at The Golden Ball (3 Victoria Square) we are holding a School Uniform Giveaway. We have been donated some brand new Summer uniform pieces including gingham dresses and shorts as well as preloved school uniform with logos that will be out for you to take away what you need for FREE.

The Basement, at The Golden Ball, is open today and tomorrow (Tuesday and Wednesday) as usual 10am-12pm and donations can be dropped off at these times. Donations for the giveaway can also be dropped off between 9am and 5pm on Friday 10th April when we will be setting up for Saturday.

Happy Easter – He is risen!
What a joyful and encouraging weekend we’ve shared together. From our Hour at the Cross service on Good Friday, to joining the Walk of Witness through town and enjoying refreshments and fellowship with community afterwards, it was a beautiful time of unity.
Then on Easter Sunday, we celebrated the wonderful news that Jesus is alive—our hope, joy, and new life today. Whether you’re exploring faith or have followed Jesus for years, the invitation is always fresh.

Are you in town this morning? Watch out for and feel free to join the walk of witness as it journeys from the top of town to The Golden Ball. We remember all that Jesus did for us when He went to the cross to set us free and show how great the father's love for us is.
