Members of our congregation and some friends have gone on a pilgrimage this September to the Holy Island of Lindisfarne. They arrived safely yesterday and are out and about exploring this special and holy place this afternoon. In recent years a group has gone along to Lindisfarne annually for a time of reflection, prayer, fellowship and to learn more of the life and ministry of some of the most significant people in the Christian story, particularly St Aidan and St Cuthbert. How glorious the weather looks! We wish our pilgrims well for their time there.

This Sunday at 11am join St Hildeburgh's Parish Church Hoylake for a service of celebration and thanksgiving for the RNLI and local crews. Followed by a BBQ, live music plus the chance to meet Bishop Mark! 🙏

This Sunday at 11am . . .

All are welcome to our Annual Lifeboat Service and BBQ as we celebrate the bravery and dedication of our incredible lifeboat crews both here at the RNLI Hoylake Lifeboat Station and also at West Kirby . . . the 11am service will be co-lead by RNLI Chaplain Revd Canon Michelle Goodrich, vicar of St. Hildeburgh's, and The Rt Revd Mark Tanner Bishop of Chester who will also be delivering an Address at the service.

The service will be followed by refreshments, including our annual BBQ and all monies raised will of course be in aid of The RNLI.

Please do come along and support our local crews and show your appreciation for their dedication and commitment.
