A message from Archdiocese of Birmingham regarding Olton Friary.

The Archdiocese of Birmingham is seeking to secure the long-term future of Olton Friary, Church of the Holy Ghost & Mary Immaculate, by selling part of the surrounding site.
We are seeking partners to take on the redevelopment of the three-storey former seminary college, known as The Friary, plus new development within areas of the site that are currently used for parking and hardstanding.
Please be assured Olton Friary church, chapel, parish hall and front car park are not included in this proposal.

The Archdiocese needs to raise funds to reinvest in the long-term future of the church and its community.

The development opportunity is currently being marketed by Savills Estate Agents and you can view details here: https://search.savills.com/property-detail/9e3bffbc-2979-41c3-a2f5-d0335fe185a3

If you have any concerns or questions please contact the diocesan Property Team via: [email protected]

The Archdiocese has undertaken similar schemes in recent years including selling Aston Hall in Stone to The St Barnabas Society and selling the former St John the Evangelist church, presbytery and school in Kidsgove, north Staffordshire, to the Coptic Orthodox Church.
