This week we will say our final goodbye to a much-loved member of our church.

Claire Frew has been coming to Lyndon since she was a little girl. She started in our Girls’ Brigade (2nd Solihull) at the age of five and went through all of the sections before becoming a leader. For thirty years she led girls in badgework and taken them through their Duke of Edinburgh’s awards. She attended G.B outings, sleepovers and many camps jointly with the 73rd Boys’ Brigade.

In addition to these, Claire also helped in church events, fundraising, planned worship, led services and took on the role as Head Steward. She will be greatly missed by everyone at Lyndon.

Taken too soon, our prayers have been with her and also with her family. Her funeral will take place at Lyndon on Thursday.

Rest in Peace Claire much love from your church and Girls’ Brigade families.

Our Girls' Brigade group had a great time at Amplify - a youth weekend for the West Midlands District held at Whitemoor Lakes Activity Centre. Lots of activities and fun. https://youtube.com/?si=I6T6mEevdIOmZKYJ
