Josephine was sent to live with family under false pretences and instead, found herself exploited, abandoned, and later abused by someone she knew.

She told a teacher. Police acted fast, and Josephine was brought to the Mercy Centre.

Today, she's home, back with her mother and siblings, back in school, and thriving.

This is what the Dignity Project makes possible: not just education, but the knowledge that protects a girl when it matters most.

100 miles. A lot of aching muscles. And as a team, together with our match funder, we've raised over £41,000 together.
Thanks to a business match funding, we only need £9,000 more to hit our £50,000 target, which means reaching another 5,000 girls this year through the Dignity Project.
We're on the last stretch. If you can help us close this final £9,000, the link is on our story. 👆
Huge thank you to everyone who's taken part, and everyone who's sponsored someone doing this challenge. Together, doing the Distance for Dignity, we can get there.

4,000ft. A whole team of students. One incredible cause.

Huge shoutout to Natalie, who just smashed her Distance For Dignity challenge, taking on the altitude with students from King's Kenya by her side.

Every step they took helps keep girls in school and lowers the risk of trafficking. Thank you, Natalie and the King's crew, for going the distance. Literally.

Eunice is 15.

She was trafficked from her rural home in Uganda to a different city and promised legitimate work by a man who approached her family. Instead, she was held in domestic servitude: forced to work, physically assaulted and verbally abused. Even her calls home were monitored, so she couldn't tell her mother what was really happening.

She was rescued only because a neighbour noticed something wasn't right and informed the police.

When Eunice arrived at the Mercy Centre, she carried deep emotional pain and exhaustion. Today, she's safe, receiving care and beginning to heal.

Her story isn't rare. It's why we exist.

Spider-Man's getting a Brand New Day 🕷️
So is everyone we work with at The Dignity Project!

It felt too fitting not to use 🕸️, because that's exactly what we're about, a fresh start, one day at a time.
