St Michael’s is looking for an enthusiastic and reliable After School Leader for Mickey’s After School Club.
Are you confident and comfortable with providing a safe, happy and fun environment for children operating within St Michael’s church? The position is for 12 hours a week, split over five days, during term time. Salary is dependent on experience.

This Sunday June 7th at 11am will be the annual service to remember the 716 Company RASC (Airborne) who in the late summer of 1944 arrived from the Normandy battlefields and were stationed at Minstead Lodge, to recover from what they had been through on D-Day and ensuing hostilities. After WW2, members of the squadron returned to present All Saints with this beautiful commemorative alms dish ..still in regular use. You will be welcome to come and hear a little more about these brave men and their fallen comrades.

FunDay Sunday. The coming of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost, in flickering flames...here symbolised by a little battery candle (briefly) in the hands of a younger member of yesterday's congregation! Thank you to all who helped put the service together and all who came. It was a lovely occasion.

Heavenly Father,
we thank and praise you for your love for all people, and for all you give us.
During our vacancy, we pray particularly for the person we believe in faith you have chosen to be our next Vicar.
May that person respond gladly to you call with an excited heart, and work with us to grow your kingdom here.
While we wait, please send us your Holy Spirit; help us to be patient, build us up in faith and love, and equip us to serve you well with all our heart, soul, mind and strength.
These things we ask in the name of Jesus.
