Something small and beautiful in the churchyard this morning. A Common Blue sitting on Yellow Rattle. If only it was common, now seems to be fairly rare - so wonderful to see on an overcast day.

Heavenly Father,
we thank and praise you for your love for all people, and for all you give us.
During our vacancy, we pray particularly for the person we believe in faith you have chosen to be our next Vicar.
May that person respond gladly to you call with an excited heart, and work with us to grow your kingdom here.
While we wait, please send us your Holy Spirit; help us to be patient, build us up in faith and love, and equip us to serve you well with all our heart, soul, mind and strength.
These things we ask in the name of Jesus.
Amen.

Something for us to think about.

So grateful to our churchwardens for all their hard work during our time of transition from one vicar to the next. Wonderful that they have both stood for election again and readmission. Good luck on any day they choose.

We are pleased to be able to share the dates for this year’s Archdeacons’ Visitations. We value the opportunity of meeting you and know that many of you, likewise, appreciate the chance to meet with fellow churchwardens, as we worship together, give thanks for your ministry, and admit you for the coming year.
