We're back this Wednesday!
Note the change of day. We no longer meet on a Monday but we have moved to Wednesdays instead.
We still meet at the same time, same place - 9.45-11.15 Tenants Hall.

IMPORTANT VENUE CHANGE!
Starting from this Sunday (26/7/26) we will be holding our services at Laurence Calvert Academy (LS10 4AX).
We will be meeting there for the whole of the summer holidays.
10.30 for refreshments, 10.45 to start
We hope to see you there!

Yesterday we had the joy of celebrating Lee's life changed by the gospel of Jesus Christ. Lee was baptised after years of reading the Bible, asking questions and questioning if it's all true. He came to the conclusion that it was and declared that Jesus is his Saviour. What an amazing testimony of God's grace! Make sure to watch the video of Lee being dunked under the water and praise God along with all of us at Hope Community Church.

We are thankful to Middleton Baptist Church for allowing us to use their baptismal pool.

Over the Easter period the children in Seekers learnt all about the Easter story. Here are some photos and videos of the week where they learnt about Jesus dying on the cross. We learnt that Jesus' death is enough and nothing needs to be added to it. We ate hot cross buns to remind us of the cross.

Seekers is a group that runs alongside the main Sunday sermon during the service. It is for children of pre-school and the early years at school.

GOOD FRIDAY
We spent some time thinking about Christ's death on the cross and the grace, love and fellowship that brings about. We took communion together and spent some time in quiet reflection.

We then ate together and the children did an egg hunt with a difference. Three special eggs had objects in which symbolised the cross, new life and friendship with God.

The day ended with a walk together. We're all looking forward to Easter Sunday now!
