A man in Jerusalem says one sentence, and it’s enough to get him killed. Not a crime, not an insult. One sentence. What did they hear in it that we so easily miss?

Join us Sundays for our new series: God sent his Son.

How can you have faith that trusts and follows Jesus? Hebrews 11:39-12:3 points us to believers who trusted God’s promises, yet ‘did not receive what was promised’ in their lifetime. Their example reminds us that the Christian life is not a short sprint but a marathon requiring endurance. And when the road is hard, we are not left to run alone. We look to Jesus, who endured the cross and now reigns in glory. As we fix our eyes on him, we find the strength to keep trusting, following, and persevering until the finish.

Join us this Tuesday at 1.10pm for the launch of our new lunchtime series at St Helen’s Bishopsgate.

‘God’s steadfast love endures for ever.’ That is the confident cry of Psalm 118. But how can God’s people say it, especially when sin, suffering, or the state of the world makes his love feel far away? Psalm 118 takes us on the journey of God’s King: delivered from death, established as the righteous cornerstone, and saving his people. In King Jesus, dead, risen and alive for ever, we see the proof: whatever our circumstances, ‘God’s steadfast love endures for ever.’♥️

New to London? 🎡💂‍♀️
Our 6pm Sunday meeting is a contemporary service for those in their 20s and 30s. If you’re arriving in London to begin work or study, you’ll find many people at a similar stage of life at St Helen’s.
After the meeting, a meal 🍽 is served in St Andrew’s Church, where we catch up with friends and talk about what we’ve heard that evening.

Have you ever wondered what singing in church is all about?

Serving in Song is a monthly workshop for anyone involved in church music, or those who simply want to learn more about church music. The course consists of theological study, as well as practical lessons, and covers topics such as:

What is the Bible’s teaching on worship?
How do I pick the songs we should be singing in church?
How can I play songs in a way which helps a congregation sing?
How can I arrange a Christian song for different sized bands?
