At our recent Tea & Memories the theme was summer flowers, fruit and veg. Alongside some challenging quiz questions our participants tried to identify various fruit and vegetables. We also enjoyed looking at some beautiful photographs of flowers kindly donated by Margaret Squires.

Everyone enjoyed a trip down memory lane talking about past memories.

Café Plenty in Station Rd, Hampton provided a lovely strawberries and cream cake - as ever, a huge thank you. There was an added bonus of Hazel’s delicious jam tarts.

Next session, before the summer break is Friday 3rd July (no Tea & Memories in August).

Games was the theme of this month’s Tea & Memories. Participants enjoyed Shove Ha’penny, Connect 4, an active floor game, Jenga and 80s game, Simon!

We also had a quiz and a round of Scattergories.

Cafe Plenty, Hampton, kindly donated a delicious Battenberg.

A wonderful Easter service today with Holy Communion, decorating of the cross, Easter hymns and a time for reflection.

We enjoyed a truly special Easter “Tea & Memories” session, creating beautiful Easter gardens together as we celebrated the most important day in the Christian calendar. 🌷

Our participants also had great fun taking part in a garden-themed quiz and decorating wooden Easter hanging decorations. We were kindly treated to a delicious chocolate cake donated by the wonderful Café Plenty in Hampton, along with traditional Good Friday hot cross buns.

Our next session will take place on Friday 1st May at 11am
