Less is more ? I think this is finished ... It will be put away for a few days to give me time to decide.

A little bit more work on the hare tile today. Lots more detail to go.

So, all the peas survived the firing. First 'Peas on Earth' has been painted and had a photo shoot in the Forest on our evening dog walk 🤣

Please let me know what you think, comment below 😁

It's all in the hands of the kiln gods!

Kiln loaded up and now an overnight wait to see if all the pea pods survived. 😎

Cleaning edges - one of the bits that people won't usually see. Using a damp sponge I clean and smooth the edges of every piece of my greenware work before it's bisque firing. It's time consuming and occasionally pieces break or click. The pieces that click are never fired as they may have hairline cracks that can widen or cause the piece to explode in the kiln, perhaps ruining other work and definitely meaning that a good clean up job is needed .

Base coat going on gradually. Not sure if this will be a starry night or wonky moon sort of painting 😁
Interesting textures on this lovely old tile.

Ross Reclamation one of your lovely terracotta roof tiles being saved as artwork.
