Welcome to Forest Gate Church - a Church which is focussed on Jesus, following His teachings to make a difference in our community. We are a family Church, with lots of children, young people and families, but we have a wide age range of members from all walks of life. We believe that God calls us to go out into our workplaces, neighbourhoods and social circles as lights that shine for Him. Theref

ore everything we do is to equip God's people to do just that - to grow in our relationship with God, and to grow in our relationship with each other. If we can help you in any way, just ask, and you're welcome to join us any time mid week or at the weekends.

We have been so excited to talk about Townsend House, we’ve confused a lot of people!!

All our church activities are still running from our current building on New Road. So please go there for Little Sprouts, Gatecrash, Latecrash and Coffee Mornings.

We will be moving into Townsend House after the building work is complete, which we hope will be around October 2026.

We look forward to welcoming everyone to Townsend House on Saturday for a tour of the building and to see our plans! We’re open from 10am to 2pm, with drinks and refreshments!

If you’re driving, please park in the Townsend House car park (at the end of Court Farm Lane) or in the public car park behind the library. Please be mindful not to block local residents or use the community centre car park.
