Yesterday evening we celebrated Ascension Day - cheerful hymns, readings from scripture and explanations about what is Ascension Day.

Ascension Day commemorates Jesus Christ’s physical ascent into heaven, marking the completion of His earthly ministry and His exaltation at God’s right hand.

And we now wait for Pentecost for the sending of the Holy Spirit - so during this time we are praying each day and these 9 days between have been called a Novena. a time of prayer for ourselves and others as we wait.

Join us this Sunday (10th May) at St. Paul’s Church Sandgate for our Family Service starting at 10:30.

We’ll enjoy a drama, Bible readings, prayers, and hymns.

Our Theme is In Between Times - the photo is what can grown in between the path and the church wall.

For our final hymn, “You Shall Go Out with Joy,” we’ll sing it twice and bring out the musical instruments from the children’s corner to make a joyful noise.

Come and join our worship, look around our beautiful church and take the opportunity to collect a Parish Magazine.

Oh and we are good with cake at the end of the service as well

Our Parish Magazine is out - The Triangle which covers St Pauls, St Georges and Holy Trinity Church.

Our magazine costs £1 per month and is available from each of the three churches. pop in on Sunday to pick up a copy.

Inside this month is an item on our Family Worship, held each month on the 2nd Sunday where the congregation saw a painting develop during worship.

If you are a singer or piano player you might be interested in the Scholarships that Holy Trinity are offering.
