An open air service at St Andrew’s this morning. Sharing the memories of Aldersgate Day with our neighbours and the people of Cheriton. In perfect summer weather we remembered the anniversary of John Wesley’s heart being Strangely Warmed. We were reminded, using the most colourful parachute and plastic eggs, how spiritual gifts can be distributed.

Easter Day at St Andrew’s. A service of reflection and celebration ending with the decorated cross being carried out of the building, where we sang “Thine be the Glory” to the busy street outside. He is Risen Indeed, Hallelujah.

Our Palm Sunday service at St Andrew’s this year was Cafe style worship and was led by Tom Lewis. He brought with him a group of young people and together they provided us with a service that included lively debate and discussion. We were asked if any of us had been in a large crowd, perhaps at a football match or music venue? Helping us to think, what it may have been like, when Jesus entered Jerusalem to a large crowd of followers, on the day we now call Palm Sunday.
