Join us this October for our Prophetic Training Day at our Cambridge location! 🙌

📖 This will be a day of prophetic teaching and activation, with special guests Tom and Suzie leading the day alongside C3’s Prophetic Team.

☕ Refreshments will be provided during the breaks, but please bring your own lunch with you. 🥪 Alternatively, Sainsbury’s is just across the way if you’d like to purchase something during the day.

The word of the week based on Sundays preach is: Blessed

Matthew 5:3 (ESV)
“Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.”

The Greek word translated “blessed” is:
μακάριοι — makarioi
from μακάριος — makarios.

Makarios can be translated “blessed” or “happy”

It describes a state of blessedness, happiness or well-being that comes from being in the right relationship with God, rather than simply having pleasant circumstances.

That is what makes Jesus' teaching so revolutionary.

Jesus isn't saying, “Happy are the people whose lives are going well.”

He's describing people as blessed even when their circumstances don't look particularly happy.

PRAYER

Jesus, help me understand true happiness. Teach me not to build my joy entirely on my circumstances, success or what other people think of me. Help me recognise my need for you and discover the deeper joy that comes from belonging to your Kingdom. Amen.

☀️ THIS SUNDAY AT CHURCH ☀️

This Sunday, we start a brand-new speaking series: True Happiness! 🙌

Rosemarie will be starting us off as she speaks on Matthew 5:1–12. 📖

We’ll also be celebrating Move Up Sunday, as our Kids and Youth move into the next year. 🎉

We’ll be spending some time praying for our children as they take this next step. 🙏❤️

🔸 Bury St Edmunds – Plenty of on-site parking.
🔸 Cambridge – Limited on-site parking is reserved for first-time visitors. If you're a regular attendee, please use the rear car park at Sainsbury's.
🔸 Cambridge West – Plenty of on-site parking.
🔸 Colchester – Plenty of on-site parking.

✳️ SERVICE

Our services are around 1 hour 30 minutes and include sung worship, updates about what's happening in church life, a preach, and an opportunity to receive prayer.

Please stay around afterwards for a hot or cold drink and a chance to chat and connect with others.

✳️ KIDS CHURCH

We have dedicated spaces for children where you can drop them off, with a full kids programme available across all our locations.

✳️ COME AND SAY HI!

Each of our locations has a Next Steps stand where you can ask questions, find out more, and sign up for events, teams, and groups.
