🙏 24-7 Global Week of Prayer | 6–13 September

From 6–13 September, churches and communities around the world are joining together for the 24-7 Global Week of Prayer — a week of non-stop prayer, worship and seeking God’s presence. 🌍

This year’s theme is “At the Name of Jesus” (Philippians 2:9–11), and we’d love for you to be part of this global movement of prayer.

There are three ways you can join us at Kerith:

💻 Virtual Prayer Room
Book a time to pray from wherever you are and join others around the world.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Family Prayer Room – K2
A prayer space specifically designed for families to come and pray together.

🙏 Prayer Room – The Studio
Our prayer room in the Studio will be open for you to book a time to come and pray.

Whether you can pray for an hour, gather with your family, or simply set aside some time at home, everyone can play a part.

Let’s unite with believers around the world and lift up the name of Jesus! ❤️‍🔥

Join us through September at Kerith on Sundays as we begin exploring the book of Joshua, following the story of the Israelites led by Joshua into the Promised Land.
Whether you know the story well or not, we'll be discovering this ancient story's relevance to our lives today, exploring themes of change, remembering our past, God's grace, courage, and purpose.

Starts:
Bracknell & Windsor & Isle of Wight: 6th Sept
Farnborough: as soon as the Sunday gatherings start up again.

See you there 🙂

📚 September Book of the Month 📚

Each month this year, we’ll be sharing a book recommendation from someone in our community. We hope these picks inspire, encourage, and help you discover some amazing reads!

This month, Chris Reddecliff recommends “Get your life back: Everyday practices for a world gone mad” by John Eldredge.

“I found this book helpful, insightful and full of wisdom. In a world where we are bombarded by digital interruptions and noise, and the influence of the internet and social media is seemingly everywhere, we need to unplug sometimes! Most of us are carrying instant access to all the issues going on around the world in our pockets via our smartphones. It’s no wonder we often feel overwhelmed, distracted, anxious and mentally frazzled! I found this book both practical and challenging as I seek to connect with Jesus more than relying on technology, and enter healthy rhythms of being more fully present to the people and environment around me.”

Stay tuned for more great suggestions throughout 2026! 📖✨

"Hi everyone, I’m Elizma — though most people call me Liz. I get to serve in two roles at Kerith: I manage Bracknell Foodbank, and I’m the Social Justice Co‑ordinator for our Bracknell site. That means I help look after our outreach programmes like the Foodbank, Revive Café, and Food Camp — all amazing ways we get to love our community in practical, hands‑on ways.

My heart beats for truth and justice, and I’m passionate about creating spaces where people feel cared for, valued, and supported. I love building relationships and having real conversations where I can share the love of Jesus naturally and help people feel safe and encouraged.

I’ve been blessed with an incredible husband — we met at school — and we have three wonderful kids. As a family, we love travelling, exploring new cultures, trying new foods, and being outdoors. My happy place is anywhere near water.

One of my favourite parts of my job is working with our volunteers. They’re amazing, and I care deeply about supporting them well and walking alongside them — loving them the way Jesus would."

We’re so privileged to have Beccy Oliver as part of our Bracknell team, serving as our Site Pastor. We asked Beccy to share a little more about herself, her journey, and what she loves about being part of the Kerith community.

"Hi, my name is Beccy, and I'm Co-Site Pastor at Kerith Bracknell. I am actually a Brummie, and grew up in Edgbaston in the Anglican church (still love a bit of liturgy!). I trained at Nottingham as a physio and still work 2 days a week as a Parkinson's Specialist. I'm one of 3 girls, and Ben and I have 3 girls ourselves, now young adults, so we are practising releasing our kids to Jesus!

My ideal Saturday involves waking up to a Parkrun ( with a PB!) in our local park. Then coffee and some gardening - planting pretty plants, not weeding! Evening dinner party with friends in the garden ( no idea when I had the time to cook the food) and a few pages of my latest book before bed.

The favourite thing about my job is EVERYTHING! ( apart from the emails). Seeing people connecting with Jesus at every age and stage of life, through the good and tough times. What a privilege"
