CLOCKS CHANGE
Remember the clocks go back one hour next weekend, so please don’t arrive an hour early on Sunday 25th October.
ALL SOUL’S SERVICE
Sunday 1st November at 4pm: a chance to remember loved ones who have died. If there are any names you would like to include in this service, please print them on the sheet at the back of the church.
CHURCH POPPIES
We will be decorating the church on Saturday 31st October from 10am. If you would like to lend a hand, do come along and join us.
FOSPA TEAS DONATION
Macmillan Cancer Support: We are delighted to report that on the 4th of October, the FOSPA teas this year, we raised £2,269.75 in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support. Many thanks to everyone who attended.
TAIZE STYLE SERVICE
On October 25th at 4pm in the church hall we are planning to hold a special Taize-style service of worship. If you're not familiar with these services, they provide a quiet and peaceful opportunity for reflection, readings, prayer, some silence, and some simple chants to listen to or sing along with the Music Group. You can join in as you wish or just let the gentle worship float around you. We sit in the round, and the service takes place by candlelight. Do come and experience this special time with us.
THE OCTOBER PODCAST
This is a podcast providing further insights into the history of Taize and of course examples of its music and words. It should be ready prior to October 25th when you can experience it for yourself.
