All Saints Ilkley invites you to try Alpha -
A series that looks at the big questions of life, faith and meaning.

Each session will have a meal, a short video and then time for open and friendly discussion.

Alpha is completely free, and you are welcome no matter who you are or what your views are.

Not sure if it's your thing? - Try our taster session! - 6:30pm Sunday 21st Sept, All Saints Ilkley.

There's no pressure to believe or say anything and there's no pressure to come back if it's not for you.

We will also be joined by Mike, the vicar at all saints, who will talk to us about ways we can stay connected in the church.

As usual we'll have a meal and a discussion, and there will be a chance to pray and to receive prayer for healing. It's going to be a great session and we're excited to see you there!

We're really excited to welcome you back tomorrow for a day looking at the Holy Spirit. We'll be starting at 3:30pm tomorrow (Sunday) afternoon at All Saints Church, where we'll be looking at who the Holy Spirit is.

It's going to be a brilliant day with food, discussion and a chance to encounter the Holy Spirit, so we are really looking forward to seeing you there!

Thank you so much to everyone who has signed up to come to Alpha at All Saints Church, starting with our taster on 8th September. We’re looking forward to welcoming you!

Just a reminder we're starting at 6.30pm in the Linkway (attached to the main church building) with a light supper and then start our Alpha session at 7.15pm. We will be finished by 9:00pm at the very latest. If you have any special dietary needs do let us know.

Also, if you want to bring a friend, you are very welcome to do so!

We look forward to seeing you on the 8th!

What is Alpha?
Alpha is a place to come and explore some of life's biggest questions.

What does Alpha involve?
Each week we will have a meal together, followed by a short (20-25min) video on an area of the Christian faith, followed by a time of open discussion.

Who is Alpha for?
Alpha is for everyone, particularly if you wouldn't call yourself a Christian! We're not going to tell you what to think, and we're certainly not going to preach at you.

Alpha is about giving everyone a chance to share their views, and your view is just as valid as anybody else's!

As people, we spend so much of our lives thinking about the small questions; "What am I going to eat?" or "What we're going to wear?". Alpha is about making a space to think about some of those really big questions; "WHY AM I HERE?" "WHERE AM I GOING?" "IS THERE MORE TO LIFE THAN THIS?"

Where and When?
Alpha is run at All Saints Ilkley, starting on the evening of Sunday 8th September.

How much does it cost?
Alpha is completely free. Just bring your questions!
