On 3rd September 2026, children from IJ Centre Sook, Sabah, aged 7 to 18 years old, 4 teachers, 2 Sisters including some parents had an educational outing to Keningau, Sabah. They visited three different centres:

First Centre: Henry Gurney School, Keningau Sabah.
Henry Gurney School is a rehabilitation centre for juveniles' cases. The school provides education, skills training and rehabilitation programs for youngsters under 18. Everything for their learning and growth is done within the centre.

Second Center: Handicraft Centre, Keningau, Sabah.
It was a wonderful experience for the children to see the beautiful crafts of the people of Sabah. They were given the opportunity to try hands-on activities such as batik printing, making key chains and small basket weaving. It was a meaningful experience that allowed them to appreciate the richness of Sabah's culture and heritage.

Third Centre: Pizza Hut Keningau
Our last visit of the day was to Pizza Hut, where the children got to make their own pizzas! They truly enjoyed the experience of creating their pizzas and also participated in indoor games organized by the Pizza Hut staff for them.

Overall, it was really a time of learning, experiencing and bonding for all of them. They are grateful to God for granting them fine weather and that everything went on smoothly.

Seeds of Possibilities - Entrepreneur Day at IJ Centre Sook, Sabah.

On the 30th August 2026, IJ Centre Sook celebrated their Entrepreneur Day for Children ( Hari Keusahawan Kanak-Kanak IJ) with the theme "Seeds of Possibilities"
It was a joyful day of working together building relationships and discovering the children's talents through cooking, selling and sharing. The atmosphere was filled with laughter, fun and love as they celebrated the creativity and efforts of their young entrepreneurs.
We also enjoyed exciting games such as darts, Spin & Win and more
A beautiful day of learning, bonding and growing together.

En France, c'est la semaine de la rentrée des classes. En ces jours où élèves, enseignants et familles reprennent le chemin de l'école, nos pensées et nos prières les accompagnent. « Les maîtresses auront une grande tendresse pour les enfants et en prendront soin en toutes leurs nécessités..." et " que chacun puisse grandir selon son génie" écrivait le bienheureux Nicolas Barré, Statuts et règlements des Écoles Chrétiennes et Charitables (1685). Que cette nouvelle année scolaire soit placée sous le signe de la confiance, de l'émerveillement et de la bienveillance envers chaque jeune.
