Everyone is a builder. But on which foundation do we build our house?

Are we like the foolish one who build his beliefs and faith on something that is not solid? When storms & pressure come, that person will most certainly collapse.

Or are we like the wise builder who remains standing and strong despite life’s difficulties.

Ptr. Vergel reminded us today to build our lives on a firm foundation.

Let us live by Jesus Christ’s teaching for He is the chief Cornerstone 🙏♥️

Leadership in the family is not based on who receives the bigger salary or who shouts the loudest.

Biblical family leadership has been set by God and must be honored by all.

The husband is the head of the wife. The children obey their parents and Christ is over the whole family.

However, there are times when it becomes difficult for a wife to submit to her husband especially when he sees her husband not submitting himself to The Lord.

So wives must always lift their husbands up in prayer and intercede for them. For they too need the grace of God.

Jesus has already performed countless miracles and wonders- signs that points to Him.

He has power over diseases, power over nature, and power over demons.

He performed those signs to reveal who He is- that He is the messiah, The Anointed One promised by God.

Despite all these, the religious leaders of His day were asking for more evidence to validate His claim.
Not because they were sincerely looking for the messiah but because they were looking for ways to destroy Him.
Their unbelief has reached its pinnacle. And their hard hearts made their spiritual blindness incurable.

Jesus told them that the only sign left for them is the sign of Jonah. For the most powerful sign is His Resurrection from the dead.

What about you?
Have you missed the signs of the times? Or are you just ignoring it?
Repent while there’s still time. Believe in Jesus and trust Him.

Let us stop chasing miracles while neglecting the miracle worker.

In today’s Sunday service,
Ptr. Khim warned us against idolatry and its subtlety.

Modern day idolatry is self-worship which may fall under one of these categories:

1. Materialism
2. Naturalism
3. Pride & ego

As believers in Jesus we may no longer be bowing down before graven images but we must examine our hearts and make sure that we are not falling on one of those mentioned above.
