........... Great Tragedy😭😭............
WHAT SHALL IT PROFIT A PASTOR TO GAIN THE WHOLE WORLD AND LOSE HIS OWN SOUL⁉️
"For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?"
(Mark 8:36-37)
We are living in a time when many ministers are under pressure to build platforms instead of fulfilling God's purpose. Some pursue popularity more than purity, public recognition more than private fellowship with God, and influence more than obedience to Christ.
Today, a pastor can be celebrated around the world through social media, yet be far from the heart of God. A minister can gather thousands of followers, receive endless applause, and attract large crowds, but still neglect the very relationship that gives true meaning to ministry.
The greatest success in ministry is not fame, wealth, titles, or influence. The greatest success is remaining faithful to God. Likewise, the greatest tragedy is not being unknown by people. The greatest tragedy is being known by the world but not approved by Heaven.
Jesus never called us to be famous. He called us to be faithful.
"Well done, thou good and faithful servant..."
(Matthew 25:21)
Notice that Heaven rewards faithfulness, not popularity. God is not impressed by numbers, titles, or achievements. He looks at the heart, the motives, and the obedience of His servants.
Church buildings, large congregations, expensive cars, ministerial titles, awards, and earthly accomplishments will one day pass away. Every pastor, preacher, and minister will eventually leave the pulpit and stand before God to give an account of their life and ministry.
On that day, Heaven will not ask:
How many followers did you have?
How many conferences did you preach at?
How many people knew your name?
How large was your ministry?
Instead, the questions that will matter most are:
Did you truly know Christ?
Did you obey His Word?
Did you walk in humility and integrity?
Did you remain faithful to your calling until the end?
May every servant of God remember that ministry is not about building a personal kingdom, but about advancing the Kingdom of God. In the end, earthly applause will fade away, but God's approval will last forever.
Choose faithfulness over fame, character over charisma, and Gods approval over the praise of men
