The World Brahman Federation Canada celebrated Deepawali Milan 2025 at the Courtyard by Marriott Toronto (0:33). The event, led by Professor Sadhana Joshi and Professor Azad K. Kaushik, had the theme "Brahmanical Values to Enlighten the 21st Century World" (0:48-0:54). Scholars, community leaders, professionals, and cultural ambassadors from Canada, India, USA, UK, and France attended to strengthen Vedic wisdom in today's world (0:54-1:05).
The program began with Ganesh Vandana (1:06), followed by a welcome address from Professor Sadhana Joshi, President of the World Brahman Federation Canada (1:09-1:12). She emphasized the importance of Brahmanical values in today's world, highlighting the need to share these values with the youth for global welfare (2:15-2:54).
A key highlight was a captivating Bharatnatyam performance by Miss Vedika Chandra Kaushal (3:18-3:46). The Deepawali Milan Awards 2025 honored individuals for their contributions in academics, spirituality, community service, education, and cultural preservation (3:46-4:52). A speaker also gave a talk on Shrimad Bhagavad Gita, encouraging youth to read it (4:24-4:45).
Professor Azad K. Kaushik delivered an inspiring address, connecting ancient wisdom to modern challenges and emphasizing the enduring influence of Brahmanical ideals on ethical, scientific, and social frameworks (4:54-5:09). He also stressed the importance of preserving Brahmanical heritage and values (5:10-5:30). The spiritual atmosphere of the event was further enhanced by the blessings of Jagatguru Shankaracharya Swami Shri Nischalananda Saraswati Ji Maharaj, presented by Shri Premchandra Jha, who spoke on the need for a Hindu nation as a spiritual and cultural necessity (6:06-6:36).
Chief Guest Shri Kalraj Mishra, former Governor of Rajasthan, praised the efforts of WBF Canada in preserving Sanatan values globally (6:36-6:55). The event aimed to promote intellectual inclusivity and the well-being of all, embodying the spirit of Deepawali (6:56-7:55). Professor Azad K. Kaushik concluded by stating that the federation is a testament to how timeless Vedic philosophy can foster a modern, ethical, and compassionate society, emphasizing the need for Brahmins to unite and bring their values to society for global peace and prosperity (9:08-9:41).
