Our ladies event on Wed April 29th will be at our local pottery painting studio Next of Kiln! 🎨 Please add your name on the sign-up sheet after Sunday service. We will meet at the studio for 6pm, and you will pick/pay for your own piece. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out. This is a great event to invite your friends to!

We are excited to welcome our new Lead Pastor Joseph Bott, his wife Melanie, and their children!

Join us this Sunday as we wish farewell to our Interim Pastor, Murray Coughlan and his wife Patricia. Thank you for your prayers during this transitional season. God has been faithful!

The members of Emerge Church have enthusiastically affirmed Joseph Botts as our next Lead Pastor with a 100% vote! Joseph brings years of pastoral experience from BC, including his first Lead Pastor role in Ladysmith, and holds an MA in Theology and Spiritual Leadership.

He and Melanie are excited to return to Alberta with their two children and join the Sylvan Lake community. Joseph has a few key texts that he returns to repeatedly. “Matthew 11:28-30 has constantly reminded me how kind the Lord is. When I feel the often-crushing weight of life and ministry, I pray, ‘God, what am I carrying that I was not made to carry?’”

Let’s welcome the Botts family to Emerge Church and pray for their ministry as they step into this new season!
