This coming Sabbath, as we prepare for a new school year, we want to surround our students, teachers, families, and school community with prayer.

We're inviting our entire church family & friends to take part in two simple prayer activities starting August 22nd as we intentionally lift our school before God.

1. Pray for Our School
Pray for our school’s safety, protection, building, future plans, resources, enrollment, and for an environment where every student feels loved, accepted, and supported.

ACTIVITY: Write a Prayer
Write your prayer directly on the “SMAS” paper letters displayed on the wall of our lobby. Add your prayer to the prayers of others as we cover our school in prayer.

2. Pray for Our Students
Pray for our students—for academic success, positive friendships, kindness, protection, and opportunities to grow in their faith and be a light to those around them. Pray for our teachers and staff—that God would give them wisdom, strength, patience, encouragement, and guidance as they pour into our students throughout the year.

ACTIVITY: Build a Prayer
Write the name of any student or teacher/staff member, Educator, you would like to pray for on a LEGO piece, then add it to the LEGO prayer tower. The tower will be taken to SMAS & continue to be built with prayers
